Are you certain it is motor oil and not hydraulic fluid? There are a number of post dealing with leakage from this plug on Lxx40's. Some posts have great pictures to reference and you can get a sense of what is involved to fix.

Did you take into account ambient air temperature when setting the Freon pressure at 45 on the low side? Did you measure the air temp from the outlet and ambient temperature? What kind of differential are you getting?
