My When, Where and Why bike

Great heartfelt story Wildfire. The bike looks awsome! I`ll have to agree that they are reliable bikes. I have a original 71 CT 70 and I have put that thing trough hell and it`s still running.

Installing a temperature gauge on B7200

The B7200 engine is very similar to the B20 just a little smaller. Upper rad hose would work great.

Adding power steering to a B8200

Today I went to princess auto to get the lines from the block to the valve made up. On the block where you hook up the power steering there is a couple of bolts used as plugs. So I took one of the bolts and the valve with me. Got home with the lines and grrrrr wrong fittings for the block...

To Bleed or not to bleed hydraulic lines

I replaced a line on my loader when I had my B6200. I didn`t bleed it and it was fine. Maybe because it has a return that the air has somewhere to escape unlike say your brakes on your car.

    B8200 hsd

Thanks for the compliment Wildfire. But I`ve seen your stuff and it`s way to nice for me to even touch it. My first bike was a 71 CT 70 and when I was 15 I stripped it down and painted it. Looked just like yours;)!

    Rear weight options

I have a three quater drum of cement off of my 3pt. I don't have power steering yet and filled tires doesn't take any load off of the front axel. I also like it because if I don't want the extra weight I can remove it. Lots of pros and cons for both. Just have to decide what works best for you.

Great looking Kubota. I think the hood is going to bother you. Did it come with the box blade?

Adding power steering to a B8200

Thanks for measuring Dusty. I've been looking at the JD cylinder again and decided to make a bracket up for the steering knuckle and give it a try. It will allow me to get familar with the steering set up for when I get a larger cylinder.

Adding power steering to a B8200

Thanks Dusty. Looks like you cylinder on your B8200 is smaller then inch and a half so maybe I'll look at 1" cylinders. Could I also trouble you by getting you to measure the stroke of of your cylinder? When I measure my pitman it travels about seven and a half inches so I would want...

Adding power steering to a B8200

Thanks for the pictures Dusty. I do have the same hydraulic block as you do. I'm hoping to attach the valve to the pitman arm side reverse to what you have. If there is room without interfering with the clutch. Your cylinder is a 1.5" bore is that what I should be looking at or is the one on...

Adding power steering to a B8200

Yeah the valve is separate from the cylinder. Princess Auto has a 1" x 8" cylinder for $115 (haven't shop around) but it has the snap ring ends on it. The idea that I have I'll need at least one end with a swivel eye end on it. I was going to attach the swivel end to the frame and then the...
