New to me B7200HST-D w/ 60" belly mower questions

My B8200 hour meter only has room for 3 digits so I also have no way of telling how many thousands of hours it has on it. It reads 650 hours and I'm sure its been around at least once.

    New to me B7200 w/ 60" belly mower- RPM's

Running the engine at those speeds will be fine as long as you don't stress the motor(bog it down). In longer grass and hilly terrain you may want to increase the engine speed.

leaky injector - how to fix?

My B8200 had a slight leak between the injector and the line. I replaced the line, leak stopped but the new line isn't painted and has started to rust. Its on the to do list. Super quick and easy fix and no I didn't use a flare nut wrench.

    L225DT tire size

The 20.5 x 8.00 I am guessing are for turfs and the 4.00 x 15 are for AG's. Hope this helps.

Look at this Air filter~ ;(

They're not the same tractor the first one has 4wd but i know someone who's B8200 had a vertical muffler and swung it down so it was horizontal. Not sure if it doable on your machine. You'll have to look at the mounting bolts and see if there is any clearance issues.

    2 different size front tires

Tractordata.com lists AG tires for a B7100 as 6.00-12 for the fronts and 8.00-16 for the rears. Not sure if you'll be able to use the same rims. Hope this helps.

    A New Forum!

What I love about this forum is it seems not everyone has a brand new bota. And the Canadian connection;). Great work guys.

Look at this Air filter~ ;(

I guess it depends on the conditions you operate your tractor in. I have had my B8200 for about 3 years (150 hours) and the air filter still is clean.

    B6000 to buy or not?

When I was 13 years old I worked on a Christmas tree farm. I used a B6000 with a belly mower to cut the 3 foot+ weeds between the trees. I was amazed with what this thing could do compared to my Dad's Craftsman it handled those weeds but it always had issues with over heating.

    Front driveshaft cover mounting?

Mine actually was leaking oil from the front axel drive shaft from being loose. I put a couple of hose clamps on it and it seemed to fix the problem. I had a similar problem as you had with my B6200 and it worked with that one also.

    RPM with belly mower

I think running it there will be fine as long as your not stressing the motor ( The motor is bogging down).

    7100 / Woods RM59

Wow I guess it varies cause on my B8200 the 540 PTO range is set at about 2550 on the engine tach.

    Blade Finally Refinished!

Looks like brand new. You should be proud!

    7100 / Woods RM59

I think the engine needs to be revved up to 2700 RPM or so to achieve the 540 RPM on the PTO. I would just go full throttle and then back it off just a little.

    My homemade toothbar

Thanks for the kind replys. This is a large project but I once dug a pond that was 40 by 20 and about 4 feet deep with a fel on a B6200. Lots of seat time on that project.

    My homemade toothbar

And here are some pics of the construction of the new driveway. Finished removing the top soil and then had 45 metric tons of gravel delivered. Waiting a few weeks before ordering the rest of the gravel.:)

    My homemade toothbar

I'm in the process of putting a second entrance on my property and decided a toothbar would make this task easier. I made this out of scrape metal I had laying around for my B8200 bent cutting edge. It works great.

"CHG" light on more often than not lately

I had a similar problem on my B8200. The light would come on idle but would go out when i revved it up. Turned out i needed to replace the bearings in the dynamo.

    1984 B8200E Charge light won't go off.

I had this problem also but it only happened at low RPMs. The bearings were pouched.
