According to my tach, (which I'm not sure how accurate it is cause the needle seems to bounce a little) my B8200 idles around 750 and maxes out around 2800.

I would check the ground for the head lights. Try using a jumper wire to a better ground. Do you have a multi meter? Check to see if your getting any power to the lights. When I got my B8200 none of the lights were working but the wiring is very straight forward on the B8200. Hope you can...

Yeah that doesn't look like mine. Mine doesn't have the steel strap, it's a rubber strap.

I would question the 51 hours on it. I think thats low for a machine 25 to 30 years old. Do a search for other B7200 for sale and see what they sell for. I think it would be in the $2000 to $4000 range for a 2wd.

My 4wd B8200 calls for the 24's turfs and 23's on the 2wd . I wouldn't want to mess with the gearing could be costly.

Is it leaking from where the line meets the injector? My Kubota was leaking at that point. I replaced the line (cheap fix) and it solved the problem.

Is it a 4wd? What size and kind of tires does it have?

I went from a B6200 to a B8200 and I really didn't see a huge difference in hp (due to what I use it for) but the added weight of the B8200 was awesome. I found I could do things in 2wd that I had no chance when I was in 2wd on the B6200. Like they say with tractors it's all about traction.

I believe you'll also require the front pto clutch assembly for the midmount mower on the B8200.

In my B8200 manual it says its rated for a 60" finishing mower and 48" rotary mower. If 60" finishing mower is what you are looking at then it should have no problems.
