    BX25D Hydralic pressure test guage

For sure - search was the first thing I did and I found a few but not yours. Searched for "Hydralic pressure test guage", "Hydralic pressure test", "pressure test guage", and didn't see your post - now that I know it exists I will have a look at your posts. Thanks.

    BX25D Hydralic pressure test guage

Dave Thanks for the reply. I am a little concerned about the FEL capacity - it has always seemed a little anemic. When I went to move my offcut bin (picture in "what did you do on your Kubota" thread) it wouldnt lift it and I am sure it is well under the rated loader capacity. The reference to...

    BX25D Hydralic pressure test guage

I want to test my pressure. Looked at BXpanded guage but A) by the time it gets here it will be a very expensive item and B) in my little bit of research I gather the proper way to test is with a "T" fitting that allows the system to flow while being tested. So "T" or no "T"? I also read the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Enjoy! It's great for sorting (and finding) pieces by wood species, dimension or profile. (As well as keeping a bunch of stuff that will probably never get used)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Built a storage shed to free up some shop space. Moved my offcut bin which is a little smaller than 3 x 8. Good news is I was able to get it moved, forks stood up, bucket didn't bend. I was a little surprised the hydraulics wouldnt lift the bin at all - best I could manage was to hold it level...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

We had a big (for here) wind storm here in late Dec. Been doing a little clean up: ma nature seems to know how to make a mess but cares less about cleaning up after.

    Small Engine Question

KennysNewFarm - that kit looks great thanks for the lead. NIW - THAT sounds like whats going on. I looked closer at the plug and there are no cracks or other signs of were. Gap was right on spec. But high resistance is not something I can see (Is it testable?) William1 - Sounds like we have...

    Small Engine Question

I will have a closer look at that plug insulation for cracks - spark leakage sounds like an interesting theory. I also think the coil idea is interesting. I did hear some minor backfiring after it quit and I tried to restart it. Not sure how you test a coil. Thanks for the ideas.

    Small Engine Question

RCW - well you can bet changing plugs on my equipment will happen a lot sooner than it has up to now. Plug was cheap so I just replaced it. The old plug I pulled out actually looked ok - a little carbon but not fouled, gap was good and no obvious damage to the insulator. But maybe the 20...

    Small Engine Question

Eldubya, yup I agree with what your saying - that's the mystery - the new plug seems to have fixed the issue and I just don't understand how that could be.

    Clamp on pallet forks

So far my home made set works fine for light duty work and are handy for stuff bigger than the bucket. I echo the comments about being careful how it's used. The BX itself limits how much weight is possible.

    Small Engine Question

Have a Honda GX240 on a chipper that was acting up (would start fine, run for about 20 seconds and quit). I changed the gas, cleaned the fuel filter, new air filter none of which worked. On a web search another owner of the same engine said change the plug - I did and it worked! I like to...

    BX wheel spacers

Said it here before - the 2" brotec have saved my bacon at least once. Wouldn't be without them.

    BX Dually

I added the 2" Brotek spacers and KNOW they have saved my bacon at least once (loader up high when I was on more on an angle than I thought). Wouldn't be without them.

    Under Armour

One of the first things I bought as recommended by some good folks on this site. Great for some peace of mind given the stories of fan damage. I also appreciate how easy it is to get on and off as needed.

    Chip DPF Delete Discussion

Very interesting read all of this. One thing it's convinced me of - any thoughts of a new truck with a diesel engine just died.

    Brand

I cannot offer a comparison but can say the AgriEase box scraper I have seems quite robust.

    Fuel gauge not accurate?

I have had only two issues with my BX25 - fuel gauge acts just as Michigankubota has stated (the other was the loose throttle linkage Wildfire so kindly made us aware of). Bit of a nuisance but if that's as bad as it gets, I am fine.

    Piranha Toothbar

Bill, mine was the same way - I doubt any box made of cardboard stands a chance with that thing.
