On the L3800 the HST is 6.2 gallons, the 4WD manual is 7.3 gallons. I know that off the top of my head (now) because I read the wrong page when I was refilling. I stopped after I had added about 6.5 gallons and went to check the fill level... no line yet, add more, check... no line yet, repeat...
