    Surprise find!

You should trace it back to find out how much current the fuse that is attached to that run is.... Awesome find though, little things like that make life easier!

    Why?

I can't speak for anyone else but when I'm doing a search I usually don't rely on titles, I want the stuff in the content of the thread more than the title (which can be misleading as a problem stated in the title frequently deviates to a different issue entirely) so a title like "Why?" doesn't...

    Super UDT?

Some folks, like my wife, have very sensitive noses. They can smell stuff us normal sniffers don't have a clue about. Now, if the manual says 'fill with S-UDT" in that spot, then you should just change out the fluid, regardless of the smell (it can change composition due to heat and other...

New L4600 with metal in hydraulic fluid

Everyone says a little metal is normal at start but if you are seeing a lot, something is wrong and I'd be asking for it to be completely torn down, or better yet, for a new machine. Let that one head back to the factory for them to find out what went wrong with it. As the customer it should...

    LED lights?

No, LED lights are brainless and last forever. They are more expensive in the short run than incandescent but in the long run they will outlast incandescent. Just buy a kit.

    MX5100 and Landpride 12' batwing

If you are doing fine grass cutting, a pull behind reel gang mower can even be towed by an atv... http://www.homedepot.com/p/ProMow-Sport-Field-7-Gang-Pull-Behind-Reel-Mower-SP-701/100671656?N=5yc1vZbxb9 as you can see, even Home Depot carries them. They are worthless for field cutting, but...

    Why?

It is a friendly place but folks can get grumpy for various reasons... we should all be as forgiving as we can. Anyway, 3 cylinders have traditionally been tough. If you fire them based on a 120° rotation it's mathematically sound, but I think actual timing is a bit different. Optimally we'd...

hand or foot, which throttle do YOU use

My dealer added fluid to the tires for free when I purchased the unit. The salesman (nicest guy on the planet) said "I don't sell loaders with 3 points that don't have weighted rear wheels!" and was adamant about putting it in, didn't charge me a dime for it either. I was buying a $20,000...

    B21 Quits working

You can attach a meter to the farthest ends of the wire chain for the solenoid and put it in Ohms/audible mode. Then start wiggling and tapping components as you go. When you can interrupt the meters 'beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' sound reliably, you've probably found your problem. It doesn't...

    Gaining oil

Check to see if it smells like diesel. That will thin and ruin the engine oil as well. Don't replace a pump unless you're certain it's the right one!

    Mowing

If she's like my wife, she likes running vehicles around the property. Mine wants to buy a Kubota RTV900, she fell in love with the critter while I was buying the tractor... so I promised her once the L3200 was paid off, she could have her fully loaded RTV900. I guess we each get...

Pulled down an old shed and waxed my new B2620 - PICS

Ah, new tractor owner with time on his hands! I have the new tractor but no time! LOL! Great job she looks awesome. Like that hook setup.

    I have a starting issue on a B3200

Sometimes my parents cat shows up when I'm working on the tractors. I ask him for a wrench or rag or something and he just looks at me, so they are terrible mechanics assistants. :D

    B7200 Fuel in Oil

All of the ones I've worked on have been gear driven. The most complex one I've done was off an old Cat diesel (can't recall the model right now) but it was a beast and was completely frozen up inside. It did have the advantage of pulling off the main side plate and you could get to about 90%...

    B7200 Fuel in Oil

Injection pump repairs aren't for the faint hearted. You have to take the proper steps prior to removal and then have the right tools for the job once it is apart. It has made me nervous in the 3 times I've had to do it! It sounds like you aren't lucky enough to have a 'common' injection...

    Intermittent Power on L2600

Well, at least it WAS a fuel problem! I have a personal rule set: Diesel goes into a Yellow container. Gas into Red, Water into Blue. I've been able to hold true to it so far. Glad to hear it's all better and you have a clean fuel system now! (always find the bright side!)

    I have a starting issue on a B3200

Get a good barn cat or two. For the price of cat food, they are pretty cheap pest control and they make a good seat warmer when your tractor is in the barn if you keep an old blanket on the seat. Make sure they are fixed, don't want them multiplying.

    B7200 Fuel in Oil

Had the same issue on my D-17. Had to rebuild the injector pump with new seals. No more leak into the oil pan...

That was a selling point to me as well when I purchased mine.

    Mowing

I was looking at purchasing a B2620 but was 'talked into' an L3200. I'm glad I was. My 6 acres mow at about an hour per acre with the L3200, the B2620 would've been slower. It depends on the weed/grass height (emphasis on 'weeds') but the larger tractor helps with more than just mowing...
