Would you buy a tractor sight unseen?

I wouldn’t buy used sight unseen but I’d probably buy a new one that way. If you find one at Huckabones, I’d go check it out for you. Edit- just checked their page and they have a L3130 used.

    Trailer Ramp will Lift up

Set of stabilizer legs on the back of the trailer will likely help prevent that. If I’m reading it right it sounds like the back of the trailer is tipping down from the weight.

    Driveway Expansion

Finally got the tree down. Instead of trying to dig up the stump I found a local guy with a green machine and a stump grinder. So I paid him to destroy it for me. Almost 3’ across. Glad I took it down before it fell on something or someone. I was surprised how much the stump grinder moved the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Been a busy week.. Not too much tractor time. But I did get this tree down. Paid a guy with a green machine and a stump grinder. Don’t have the time to spend using the backhoe to try and dig it up. bought a pto adapter and tested it out today. Extended the PtO shafts perfectly for the QH. *for...

    Hazardous to your health

Does the US not have an “approved containers rule”? If I was working at the gas station I wouldn’t even turn the pump on for stupidity.

    not heated

good point! Lots of people tend to forget this part. I do that with everything. If I need to fire up my atv just to move it out of the way, I run it up for a bit. every engine I own gets stabilizer in it almost year round. Cheap insurance on your fuel IMO.

    Right to Repair

So many manufactures do things to prevent “backyarders” it’s frustrating. Something so simple as adding a brake controller to a truck can cost over $100 for the dealer to plug in and update the computer to tell it you now have a brake controller. Friend of mine got it done after doing a factory...

The top-n-tilt top link is already damaged. User error or poor design?

i may very well be doing something similar in the near future. Finding a 16” hydraulic top link for under $400 seems impossible. However there are a pile of cylinders in the 1-200 range that require the ends be chopped and ball ends welded on. there was a video where a guy made a jig to line up...

The top-n-tilt top link is already damaged. User error or poor design?

2% column A 98% column B, you might have been better using the cat2 hole however It looks like you eventually would have the same problem maybe just would have taken a bit longer, or not been as drastic. I’d mostly blame the design, isn’t enough ”round” on the ball with the extra flats.

Cracked HST Housing - Removing tires

When I worked in heavy equipment this is how we got wheels off machines however they can be expense, you may be able to rent one. Search for a “tire dolly” cheaper and not as stable option. but should work

    Bx23s ballast question

I had the tractor for a few months before I filled the rear tires. So I’ve run on my lawn with both. What I mean is. After I tossed the RV antifreeze in, I didnt see a difference in my rears digging in more.

    Homemade snowplow and supports.

I have a thread about building it. If you need any measurements or have any questions. Just ask! I’m hoping in the next week or 2 to add the brackets so I can mount my QH05 to it so I can lock onto my implements with the loader to move them around.

QH10 and Tarter 200 Series Box Blade = Compatible

If you can get the dimensions from their pin distance and height to the top pin. That should be a good indicator. I measured my finishing mower before I bought my QH last week and all I had to do was swap the bracket so the pins were facing out and they were the perfect width.

    Land pride QH05 review

Quick update. I’m a moron. I didn’t realize you used a double link when hooking up a finishing mower. Tossed the black links that came with the QH and the mower link works on the hook.

FIRST POST! 60 year member! Need Grapple advice new L2501 owner

I have an HLA and its A beast, IMO overkill for my machine. Would have gone with a landpride one but dealer couldnt get one, just for the weight savings. I think the 54” is around 440lbs. I have the 48“ on my BX it’s around 380. Don’t quote me on the numbers I should be close though.

    Mini / backhoe advice

I would go with a TLB. trenches aren’t an issue IMO for a backhoe. i Did a 40’ one in what felt like no time with my little BX. I find new uses for my machine on a regular basis.
