While working on our BX a month ago I was under the machine running hoses for the hydraulic thumb when I noticed the lower fuel filter looked a little on the dark side. I removed it and decided to cut it apart to see what was inside. It had a lot of crap in it and the machine only has 70 hours...

Russell the strangest thing is, I've always wanted to restore an old fire truck. There were only two problems with it. I couldn't find a truck and I wouldn't know what to do with it after it was restored :confused:

Well frig it then. I'll let the dang thing burn and go get a new tractor. Having something, anything to aid in suppressing a fire is better than having nothing at all. Maybe I'll just go and pick up an old pumper truck and restore it to have on stand by while I'm using the tractor. :rolleyes:

Cool. I mounted mine on the ROPS. Not many choices on a small BX to mount it. Mine is classed as a ABC extinguisher.

Thank you my friend. Oh my wifey really helps out in the shop. When your a two person team in a busy shop you do what needs to get it done. While she is cleaning the equipment I move on to the next job. It's efficiently at its best. I really don't know how I'd do it all without her. Well good...

Well she found out. Let's just say it's going to be a cold night in the dog house for me lol. She's really a good sport. She's cleaned up that lathe for years now but that's the first time she's seen that material. I let her read your post and she had a big chuckle. Thanks for that. :D

Well we've got 80% of our snow gone but tomorrow we are in for high winds and 10-15 mm of rain. Bring it on, I'm fed up to my right nut with snow. :mad:

Oh ya. Montreal is crazy for driving. I found if you were driving in Quebec and you were doing 150 mph someone would try and pass you :D That being said I really like Quebec and it's people. I have two military sons in Ontario. Wish they were here. We miss them :(

You using a diverter valve? I'm using a 3rd function. The switch needs to be on off on momentary. I'm not one to take short cuts. No fun in that :D
