    Bucket wear

Thanks Dan. I lurched that cutting edge from my Kubota dealer. It came with the nuts and bolts. It worked out great for the BX. Here is the tag that was on it when I got it. I laughed at your post, I really did. I then noticed where you are located and I had a memory come to mind...

    Bucket wear

Every winter I get low hour tractor buckets in my shop that I have to cut the front lip off and replace it due to premature wear. Buckets wear and they wear fast so that's why as soon as my BX showed up last year the very first mod was to add a bolt on cutting edge and a spill guard. The...

I don't use our BX for mowing. We have the ZTR for that but if I were going to use the tractor for mowing I'd go with the wheel spacers. I put them on the BX25-D and like the added stability when using it for other things.

    Fuse Block

Yup, shame on you :( I'm glad to hear I've had some influence on you :) There are times I can do videos and then there are times I can't due to my work load. I've tried to do more but videos take a pile of time to tape, edit and upload while trying to do the actual mod so it's gets a little...

    Fuse Block

You could fab up a enclosed light bar with a 20" led light in the front and a tactical led strobe light in the back of it and it will fold with the ROPS ;).

    Fuse Block

And IF you really want to get fancy you can add a relay like I did and that fuse panel will only have power when the ignition is on and or the machine is running. ;)

    BX25-D Fuel Filter Conversion.

The reason there's two filters on the BX models is due to the inefficiency of one of those little plastic filters to do the full job of keeping the fuel clean to the pump and the injection pump. It needs one before the pump to protect it and one after the pump to protect anything after it such...

    BX25-D Fuel Filter Conversion.

I'm thinking the same thing. It all equates down to the dollars on the filtration system. My gripe was the capacity for the little plastic filter to hold dirt. There was no room for dirt and that's why guys are reporting so many low hour plugged filters. At least with these bowl filters there's...

    BX25-D Fuel Filter Conversion.

Me either. They put basically a snowmobile filter on the tractor. It had no fuel cock either and then the filter was put in that God awful place where it was hard to service. 70 hours on the filter and it had plenty of crap in it plus the little filter had no capacity to hold much dirt. With...

    BX25-D Fuel Filter Conversion.

Looks nice. What's the thickness of the guard? Now you just need to run your lines. Sure beats what you had before :)

Well I'm glad your laughing. I'm not. They just reported we got two feet of snow on the way  :D

That my friend is a Canadian belly button. It's that high because the snow is higher up here :D

I just measured and it's exactly 37" high from the top of the seat pad to the ground.

    new L3200

We are all waiting for warmer weather. I'm tired of winter at this point. Hey don't worry about posting projects next to mine. If you make mine look bad then I'll just try harder :)

    new L3200

Thank you. I've had that blade new since 1994. It's Canadian made and has a poly skin on it so nothing sticks to it so it's ideal for our climate. Happy to hear you like what I've done. I'd love to be able to dedicate my time to just doing this sort of thing and I am working towards that but I...

    new L3200

Welcome to the site and congratulations on the new tractor. I've been running a 7.5' Arctic plow on my tractors since 2008 when I first removed it from my pick up and put it on a Kubota Grand L 4240. In 2011 I sold the 4240 and bought the 5740 and the blade is on that machine now. Both machines...

Hydraulic Thumb for the Kubota BX25-D

I think winter is here to stay  I usually go 2-3 revolutions before I back out again. Some people go less than that but I'm a little impatient lol. I like to keep the cutting fluid on the thread as well. That's the real trick to a good thread in my opinion.
