    Light mounting on FEL

I'll say one more thing on the subject. I'm not looking at any posts or replying to them at 4:30AM anymore. I thought he was asking about welding to the ROPS :D Yes you can weld a bracket to the FEL but be tidy about it ;)

    Light mounting on FEL

Technically the answer is NO. You shouldn't drill or weld on your ROPS system. I recently did it for a friend/customer on his BX and the only reason I did it is he asked me to do it plus he never ever used his ROPS in the upright position because of its height so I lowered it. It marks the very...

    Fuel filter change BX 25

Your kindly welcome. You put them on to tight. I've never had that issue and I've done it dozens of times. Technically the best tool to use is these. I never mentioned them in the video because most guys won't have them.

    Fuel filter change BX 25

Here you go. Here's a video I did last week on doing a full service on a BX. Just use a pair of needle nose vice grips to pinch the line. It's shown in the video and how to bleed it after. http://youtu.be/pi9PVdEmNRs

    Honda riders

Your a true rider my buddy and you speak the truth. Now we want to see a photo of your beast. Lovely. Tell us a bit about it, please! Thanks buddy. We are skipping work today and getting ready to head out for the day on it. The sun is shining, no wind and warm so why not. I'll post a...

    My Tractor is Haunted

Omg that's just to funny. I'm here with tears coming out of my eyes. Lol Here's what I'd do. Take a pressure washer with no less than 2600 psi and wash the machine in holy water :D

    Honda riders

That recall is just an extension of one back a few years ago on the GoldWing. I was partly responsible for one GoldWing recall back in 2003 that led to over 12.300 bikes getting frames re welded or replaced up here in Canada and over 33.000 in the US. Honda do handle this sort of thing well...

BX, B, or L? Help please!

You've talked about the amount of trees you need to cut down and the amount of time it will take using a BX. Well it will take you longer with the smaller BX and every job you do with the BX will be the same way. If it's speed your looking for don't go smaller than an "L". I'm fortunate to have...

BX, B, or L? Help please!

Hello Jbirdnc and welcome to the site. Thank you for the shoutout and thank you for your YouTube subscription. There's not a lot I can add to what the other guys have already mentioned but I will say this. If you have plenty of room to manoeuvre the machine and considering the tasks you want...

    More weights

Sorry. I didn't realize you never had power steering! As for the mod, it's an easy thing to do in a welding shop but with no power steering your kind of out of options. I thought everything had power steering. My old Massy that was built back in the 60's had it.

    BX fuel filter replacement

I'm not sure your going to gain much if anything going with that filter. It's not much different than the ones on the machine now. There are two of them. It's the lower one that gets all the dirt. I pulled mine off at 70 hours and found it full of crap. I ended up putting the same filtration...

    Chainsaw Holder?

Thank you for your kind words my friend. Some great ideas here to house a chain saw. They are all great ideas because I've heard of a lot of guys that ran over their saw because they left it on the ground. That was the reason I built the one I have. I made mine out of Teflon and put two locks in...

    More weights

When I did the conversion from an old BX1800 to a ice resurfacer I simply modified the front bumper to carry more 55lbs weights. Ten to be exact and it did the job perfectly. Never any issues with axels either.

LED lights on ROP using click bond on an L3700SU

Oh man. You should see it outside this morning. The lot is full. It's going to be a loooong day. Just take note of the time I replied to this thread in my first post. Keep well buddy.

LED lights on ROP using click bond on an L3700SU

Click Bond is a great product. A company rep gave me two boxes of it last year to try and I was hooked. I've used it in many applications including the BX and 5740 Grand L. I used it to install the 3rd function hoses on the BX and also to mount a fire extinguisher on the ROPS of the BX...

BX25 Bogging down and occasionally dies [video included]

Happy to hear your machine is working better BUT you took an awful chance using a shop vac to remove the fuel. Fuel combined with sparks from the vacs amateur could explode. Fuel when warm is pretty flammable. You are a lucky man. Don't push fate. I've been on these forums a long time and...
