    Steering wheel removal

Darn wheel, steering wheel that it. Since I blew my steering gear in the snow last week I've been trying to get that wheel off. It is on a B7100, early model, and I think it's never been off before. The standard wheel remover will not work, no bolt holes. I can't seem to find a gear puller that...

    Whats the difference???

I'm like many other orange blooded Kubota owners I would think. I love to look at most anything about our beloved tractors. What I would like to know is what is the difference in the model designations of similar tractors. Such as a B6000 and what I own a B6000E. I have seen, I'm sure, both hood...

    OH NO...It didn't!!!!

Yep it did!! I was going over to the town mayors home, my best bud, to do his drive. we had close to 5" of that cold fluffy stuff last night. since it was just up and over a block or two I was going to drive the Big Orange, my B7100. I started the first pass on the asphalt drive and it came...

    B7100 rear hubs are hinky

Hi, If you look you will find another thread here about hub repair recently that showed a neat idea. it involved welding coupling nuts to the hub to tighten them. I thought so much of the idea I purchased 2 used hubs on ebay to do that to as time permitted then change them. then I have 2...

    B series

Steve, I'm sorry your having such a problem. Keep in mind that while Kubota makes the best tractors on earth, it is possible for a problem to slip through on one. It is not likely that it was leaking "before" painting. Petroleum based products, oils and greases, can affect paints to the...

Retro-fitting an L2800 with telescoping lift arms

I've been using a quickhitch from harbor freight for a couple yrs now. I know what your thinking! so did I at first, how could that harbor freight crap be any good. well for $89 I wouldn't be without one on my B7100. has held up well, and a heck of a lot easier too. Tim in west Ky.

    Tractor Cabs

If you elect not to do a cab at purchase, seek out a Amish / Mennonite buggy maker. if you have never been in one of their shops, they use neat material. Its a alum/foam/alum laminate sheet that is super rigid and light at the same time. it can be painted or covered as many of their buggies are...

    B7100 Rear Blade

My B7100 handled a 5ft blade just fine until I hung it on a large root. At that time I destroyed the blade. I bent it rather harshly. I guess the new clutch worked well, Hmmm? Food for thought, Kytim

FEL Bucket - welding Repair ???

Thats diffinitely the way to buy if you cant find them like at a local independant Ag store near me. you can buy any of 20-25 diff rods by the pound or fraction of a pound. 3/16ths rods add in number much quicker than 5/16ths. cant remember pricing but last time I was there it seemed reasonable...

    FEL alternative

would you explain how the valves are plumbed in the lower pic in the last post? I'm trying to learn more about hydraulics as i'm pretty much a neo-dummy. fluid power is something i've never needed to work on. owned plenty, i.e. forklifts, dumptrucks, tractors but never a failure. go figure! I...

    1980 b7100

I LOVE that mod. I'm gonna do it to all three of my "B" tractors. It looks good, it's strong, and fixes a long standing problem that is expensive otherwise to fix. Thanks for the Idea!

    Altnator out put

to help you, remember divide watts by volts to get amp draw. batt acts like a water barrel, bigger lights or elect draw works like a larger hole in bottom. only prob is when flowing out is more than flowing in. a couple of those wont overdo it. Kytim
