    Dash lights and glow plugs

While I do not have your exact tractor, basic troubleshooting techniques are necessary. I would begin by following the power trail from the Batt. to its way to the fuse panel with a quality multimeter or 12v test light. From there follow each broken out circuit from its positive side in the...

    Best grease for all fittings?

I like to use a "red and tacky" type grease. Lucas has a great as do several other suppliers. I wont use a really tacky grease on joints that ooze alot of used grease in conditions that will result in grit staying in those fittings in hard to reach places. I don't want to grind junk into an...

    Dash lights and glow plugs

I understand that the glow plugs aren't working but I understand little else from your post. Maybe this cold i've got has made me a little thickheaded! The glow plugs should be activated by some action wither it's manually like the older "B" series tractors or solid state. I really can't...

You might wanna stay away from true silicones if you might want to touch up the paintwork sometime. They don't play to well together sometimes.

    Security from theft

Letting the air out of the tires was a nice touch but even if you had taken the wheels and tires they probably would have got it anyway. Thief's have no boundaries.

Before and after photos of the hurricane region

A local TV station just posted a link to some upper level photos of the Hurricane sandy destruction. It's eye opening for those of us that don't have to live this horror. http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/news/weeklynews/nov12/ngs-sandy-imagery.html

    Favorite quote or saying?

My most favorite everyday quote came from an uncle that passed away when I was very young. "It doesn't cost a dime to be nice to someone!" True words.

    Favorite quote or saying?

Not sure if it's my favorite or not but, the first that comes to mind is... I must hurry and catch up with them, for I am their leader! Maybe it's because I'm getting further behind all the time.

    Generators

I've wondered about those little things, 2 stroke or 4 stroke? I'm pretty sure it was a 2 stroke but, what is the fuel mix ratio for the most part? was just wondering if it was something odd or something that would kinda match other lawn tools. It would kinda be another one of those many things...

    which one

A heavy duty box blade with scarifiers will work great for ripping up the drive and rebuilding it. But, if you hang it on a big rock or stump you won't have to worry about the BB being square or straight anymore. IMHO, a medium size backhoe or small excavator is perfect for stump removal.

Another "Note to self" pictures *Graphic Warning*

The first time I had surgery on one of my hands, the right one, I had to relearn several things again. A couple of the hardest was brushing my teeth and zipping my pants left handed. It took me six months of phys-therapy 5 days a week just to move my fingers again. I finally learned how to do a...

How much abuse to loader and front axle/drive unit?

It's just me but, if it won't do that get rid of it! If you have kept up on your maintenance and not abusing it then use it! Not quite the same but, I spread 3 dumptruck loads of dirt in the spring with my B7100 and a box blade to fill in a large swooping area. these are tough little machines...
