Still have serious issues with my B6100

Thats what I was trying to get over to you in post #17: Quote Just a thought, have you checked that the B6100 has the same polarity ground as the one used to jump it,..If they were different, not a problem if no contact between vehicles but could be the reason for the flash (depending how big a...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

As I see this, there are 3 possible causes: 1. heat form exhaust..possible but highly unlikely Kubota would be aware of this problem and fixed it. 2. throttle cable touching bare live wire and earthing out..possible but the live wire should also heat up and burn the insulation/blow fuse 3. Bad...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

Ive seen it happen several times with throtle and choke cables on petrol vehicles, the centre wire acts as an earth especially when cranking it heats up the antifriction lining which melts then cools down goes solid and grabs the centre wire. Dave

Still have serious issues with my B6100

Just a thought, have you checked that the B6100 has the same polarity ground as the one used to jump it,..If they were different, not a problem if no contact between vehicles but could be the reason for the flash (depending how big a flash) when the chain was connected and why the bumpers should...

Thanks for that info.when I first joined OTT I did see that ROPS were discounted on your side of the pond so contacted Kubota UK. I received an email back from them stating that they did have an offer but was no longer available as the roll bars were no longer made for a B7100:mad: I did try to...

B6100D - widest wheel track settings?

I think the figure they give may be for the widest they recommend although when i was looking to buy a new B1610 a couple of years ago and told the dealer about my sloping land he said the wheels would extend beyond what was in the manual but he was trying to part me from my dosh! If you look...

B21 starts but will not stay running

I thought about this after I went to bed and remembered that I have a Kubota two cylinder generator that has interlocks that cut off the solenoid if the engine over-speeds/charges,oil pressure drops or water level goes low,I had not been near a Kubota tractor before buying mine a few weeks ago...

    B 7100 pilot bushing

With all this talk of plastic liner I am begining to think we are not refering to what I thought we were.If we are then then the plastic liner may be used as a "keep" to stop the impregnated oil dripping out and has to be removed before sliding in the the shaft:confused::confused: dave

    B6000 seat brace

Thats a real nice job,the photo posted of the original looks the same as the one on my B7100 and I kind of thought the extensions to the mud guards were duel purpose,to act as support to stop the tops of them flapping like elephant ears as well as a bit extra for the seat:) dave

B21 starts but will not stay running

If you have changed the igniton switch It sounds to me like you could have the wires mixed up on it. If you hear the solenoid click when you jump power into it and it will start with the key in the start position, that suggests to me the the solenoid is ok. What about linking the wire that you...

    B 7100 pilot bushing

Hi Dusty, If I have it right I think you may be referring to oil impregnated sintered bronze called "Oilite" bushing and are self lubricating .They are used a lot when there is not much space to fit a ball or roller Bearring or plces hidden away so not easy to lube regularly. Dave
