    SCAM!!!!!!!!! If its like the ones we get like this in the UK as soon as you dial the number you could be billed for an unbelievable sum of money or you could get your phone hacked. If ever one sees a message like this then google the number followed by "scam" and see what hits are found. dave

    L1500 - Oil Drain Plug is Rounded and Stuck

    As good as this method can be I don't think it will help in this instance. A sump plug has a soft washer which seals the plug to seal the oil in the sump so will stop the wax from entering the threads. and is the friction on this washer that stops the plug from coming undone. The first stage I...

    Drawbar Trailer Hitch

    Yes,I have the same setup on my 1953 petrol/Tvo TE20. if one uses a farm trailer where the wheels are at the rear,so much weight is transfered to the hitch that there is no chance of it lifting so they are only really needed if the trailer has wheels that are near the point of balance. If the...

    Drawbar Trailer Hitch

    You may still need a solution to lock the lift arms from jumping up if you have uneven weight distribution in the trailer. dave

    B3030 No Start - Electrical Question

    Take a 12 volt +ve wire to one side of a suitable switch and a wire from the other side of the switch to the connection on the solenoid and when you flick the switch it should turn over. make sure nothing is engagaged or in gear because the safety interlocks will be bypassed. If it fails to turn...

    Well done on your new buy and welcome to OTT. If thats "ugly" then you must be showing us her good side because from where I'm sitting she doesn't look too bad! Putting it to work

    Kubota don't have a subsidised Rops program here in the UK :mad:so I managed to get a used one. It was originally fitted to a B7100 in France and the previous owner removed it because it was catching on the apple tree branches in his orchard. It cost me 200GBP and worth every penny! Dave

    Mmm wheel bracket cracked

    Not familiar with the kubota MMM deck but on others, the mount dismount should be done on solid ground with the wheels raised clear, the perimeter of the deck is in contact with the ground so no weight is on the wheels or brackets. Dave

    using backhoe

    The only difference from the previous post,I have the FEL bucket in the near full tip position so the top and bottom edges are contacting the ground at the same time .It seems to hold better this way and keeps the tractor level when facing down hill.I use mainly on ground that it doesnt matter...

    Modify ROPS

    I tend to er on the side of caution where there is risk of serious injury or death so assume the original height of the rollbar would not just be a figure plucked out of the air by the manufacturer but a carefully calculated height to give maximum protection to the operator while keeping...
