    Just a few cosmetic things, project almost done, new seat next week :) Added the rear reflectors and the front badge Finally got all new matching front wheel lug nuts, previous owner had two different lug wrench sizes, and half missing :confused:

    rear work lamp.....continued Mounted it in the factory work light hole; and fired it up ; Here is a view of the rear box blade and beyond illuminated; Also installed the same LED 7" 36W highbeam lamp on the front (they come in pairs :D)

    Irrelevant; But got up real early and got a batch of English Pale Ale brewing so that gave me 45 minutes... To get a couple of coats of paint on the FEL frame. During the boil process I painted the bucket, and later in the day got it mounted. New decals Friday, and one more item off the...

    Got the rusted control mount separated Moved the old hoses over, and modified the old mount to accept the new controller Stripped all the plumbing off the frame and pressure washed the frame No paint today - Rain Sent the decal file off to the printer, should have fresh decals next week.

    FEL to bleed or not to bleed

    I have my loader off, disassembled, getting painted, replacing the controls, Etc. I have seen on other forums two schools of thought one that these are self bleeding, another that you need to bleed them when you have this much air in your system. Any thoughts, experience on this subject?

    Got my new controller today for the FEL (Prince-MB 8 gpm with / Float) Of course only the inlet and outlets are the same threads, need adapters for the cylinders, :mad: Oh well, the frame needs painting anyhow. :D

    Its no big deal, fix stuff up and then take care of it. its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I like my stuff to be in good shape.

    Not sure if this will take off, but I have four different implements that will need some serious attention. So I am going to start this thread, if only as my soapbox:) I am close to finishing my L1500DT rebuild, and turning my attention to, first my front end loader (FEL). Soon to follow...
