FEL to bleed or not to bleed

I have my loader off, disassembled, getting painted, replacing the controls, Etc.

I have seen on other forums two schools of thought one that these are self bleeding, another that you need to bleed them when you have this much air in your system.

Any thoughts, experience on this subject?

Cycle loader and bucket repeatedly, air should work its way out.

No need to bleed air out, it does it on it's own.

Thank you gentlemen , glad to hear I don't have to get hydraulic fluid all over fresh paint
