Will a L245 Tachometer (3 Cyl - DH1101) work in a L175/1500 (2 Cyl - Z750) ? Read accurately?

Need a L175, L1500 or Equivalent Tachometer, mine died big time. do not care if the Hour Meter works, have an electric one. PM pics and $$ please.

A great Bend model 10 or 'maybe' the 20 would also fit, if you can find!

I had some PMs between us but it looks like when the site was upgraded, anything before 2019 is history, I joined in 2015 and from then to Jan 2019 - poof? Kind of like when our IT department upgraded us to Windows 10 and all emails vanished?

That was what I found when I had to replace my reverse gear on my L 1500, the input shaft was also chewed up, replaced both as a set.

Mine does have the tube attached, it 'sputters' a bit of oil, mostly gasses. What is a 'considerable amount' to you? If you had a bowl under the tube would it fill it or just splatter it? The latter is normal.
