Swapping Tachometers

Will a L245 Tachometer (3 Cyl - DH1101)
work in a L175/1500 (2 Cyl - Z750) ?

Read accurately?

I don’t know the answer but suggest you look at Kubota’s illustrated parts list for the L245 and write the part number down then do the same for the L175. If the numbers are the same then they should be interchangeable.

No it looks like they're different that's why I'm asking the question unfortunately.

I guess having one that actually functions versus spinning in circles wildly is better than having nothing, and I can recalibrate some numbers on the glass if need be.

Yep, he has the L245 unit, was not sure about it since it has a different part number so I figured I'd ask around.

I'll probably just get it from him and see what happens.


Beats going to Denver or even Colorado Springs for that matter.
