    ZG227 Mower any good?

Tractor Data show they began production in 2008 and still can be bought new.(Starting at 12k) I wouldn’t worry about replacement parts. Download or buy a copy of the service manual if you haven’t already. I upgraded from a ZG127S to a ZD331 last year.

    A winch on my 2502

I’ve posted this picture before of mine. It has 65ft of rope. If you need more length use winch rope extensions. You don’t want to make a full length pull with any electric winch. Refer to the manual on the duty cycle, based on load and time. Depending if you have a FEL for clearance reasons...

    A winch on my 2502

I’ve had a Viper brand 5,000lb Atv/utv winch on my L3800 for almost 10 years now. It was the largest at the time that would fit between the loader and opening the hood. It’s a “wide” model holding more cable/rope than the standard version. It’s mounted in the grill guard.

Kubota l3301dt won’t move once in high gear

Wow that’s super low hours for needing a clutch. Although if abused they will wear fast. That adjustment sounds about right, I believe you can find a downloadable service manual for that model for free. I have a copy of it on my work computer.

Kubota l3301dt won’t move once in high gear

That would leans towards a clutch replacement. As long as it’s adjusted correctly. How many hours?

    M7060 / LA1154 Loader

Could be the loader control cables. Disconnect them on one side and see if the lever moves freely.

Update. Drained some fluid from each drain port, completely clear no water. New filter and topped off seemed to clear it up.

Please ease my mind - Kubota L4802 vs Mahindra 5145 - Kubota $10k more, less functional?

While those both may be 40hp that model 5145 is the size of a Kubota M series. That’s the reason it will lift more, wider, heavier etc. Those models are more different spec wise than similar other than 40hp. Factoring in the cost difference in a “repair” budget is a bad idea all together

I agree, if the cost of a used tractor plus the interest equals the cost of a new one(usually offered with 0%) then go with a new. I would consider myself a “hobby farmer” and I saved almost 15k on my 200 hour used machine versus new. That’s including the full term interest of the loan, I was...

Haven’t drained any yet as it’s still raining here. Following the air intrusion, on the suction side it’s hard piped to the filter base with a short rubber hose connecting to the pump. Hose is still flexible and no fluid leaks anywhere.

You can add Tractorhouse.com to that list. Yes used tractors hold value very well. It makes sense going used if you want a pre emissions model(older than 2014 on kubotas) or if it’s cheaper than a new one including financing assuming not paying cash. New will also have a warranty, although...

I’m down in the Mobile area. Once your set on a model don’t be afraid to get prices from dealers further away. Best price might be the closest but never hurts to call around.

Here’s a before and after. Although more cloudy than milky.

    Another hydraulic oil thread

Could be just condensation, just never seen it that milky before. Definitely from lack of use and/or short run times. The sight glass completely cleared up after about 10 min from shutting down. I’ll let everything settle and drain some off each drain plug to inspect then go from there.

    Another hydraulic oil thread

Replaced the battery in my MX5100DT today, while running it I noticed the sight glass for the hydraulic oil is milky. So I’m going to have to drain and fill at least once if not twice. I’d rather not use UDT2 that’s $140 per 5 gal just do dump it back out. Mine holds 12 gallons. What about...
