The cylinders are in parallel, if you have removed a cylinder and not capped the individual hoses, but now joined them together, you have now plumbed both sides of the other cylinder together, meaning hydraulic flow and return!

I only read his post #3 where he asks where to hook it in. He mustn't have read his own post, or he doesn't understand how a tee fits in a line. There could be a tee in the line or at the valve body with a cap fitted, or it may have been removed when the hose was removed. I'd guess the cylinder...

Regen, depending on, if, and which position it is, is not suited, do a search for blower and regen or similar, has been discussed before.

I haven't searched for your valve functions, but I expect it may be a regen position for the bucket.

If your shaft is a bit short, on full lift or full lower it may pull the coupling off if it is spring ring retained.

Is you pto shaft long enough allowing full extension so it can fully lock on? Also measure internal coupling and shaft to ensure enough depth to fully engage. Also inspect for burrs on the shaft or in the coupling, if it's come off already, then burrs may be hampering your attempt to get it on...
