One other thing, there may be an adjustable travel limit on the pedal mechanism (adjustable bolt and lock nut), if it has come loose it's likely stopping the mechanism from going to full travel.

If you have a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer or tees etc., you can remove the oil pressure switch and place it in directly to get some readings, you don't need to permanently install.

Did you replace the HST filter when you did the No.3/last oil change, or are you still running No.2 filter? The water/sludge in my machine was bad enough to restrict and break the filter when I got it.

It may have been bent prior, so you may have to fit one side at a time, slightly skew to install, then push forwards to get the other side in, if it is bent and you don't have a fix for the alignment issue. Ideally a fix would be better once you ascertain what the problem is.

Sounds like a possible suction leak. Couple of quick checks....double gasket, old gasket accidentally left in place? Accidentally put filters in wrong/opposite position? Filter accidentally cross threaded and not square?
