What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Dammit!!!! You're a WARLOCK. Yes, it was in high, just got in from the garage. That's actually good news as far as I'm concerned. Thanks!

    Titan 48" tooth bar

Crazy enough, I got an email from 'Jan' at 1:19am. Said he/she was 'out' and asked if I wanted a refund. I told him/her to send another bar and an RMA just like I stated in my last email. It also said that they needed the photo of the shipping label to 'check/validate if we sent you...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I lease 180 acres close to where I live. (and that's about as definitive as I'll get ) NIW - I 'thought' I was in low, but now I'll have to go and check for sure (shakes his head):(

Fill caps are good not leaking from there, they leak underneath. I've never looked in depth to see exactly where underneath, but the fill caps are all dry. I just never considered it an issue since all three did it? I think I'll look a little deeper.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I finally got to put my new (to me) B7100 HST to work last night. I had to get my garden in order and do some grading to train my runoff. So I tilled it up with my Cub Cadet 982 & PTO tiller, then I got in there with the B and scooped up the soil and hilled it to a high single row. It's very...

I had my 435 out on Tuesday evening for a tank of fuel clearing some paths at my hunting lease. Chain got a little dull from cutting stumps at ground level, but it ran like a champ. As far as the leaking chain oil, I have a Poulan Woodshark (10+ years old), a Jonesred 2255, and the Husky 435...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

So after excellent customer service on replacing the first toothbar, and an email stating that I could replace or get a refund on the second, Titan has ghosted me. When I received the email I replied back that I would like to have it replaced. Sent 2 additional follow-ups as they...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

This is exactly why I contacted Titan to send one out that was welded square. There's a million and one ways to 'fix' a brand new piece of equipment along with a million and two ways it's going to work against me. Again, I still haven't heard anything from them so I may have to decide if I'm...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

It would definitely be drawn together, but the (much thinner) bucket side would pull to the mounting plate. Dirtydeed provided a good suggestion of putting a 2x4 between the bucket sides to keep that from happening. I haven't gotten any response from Titan today on a new one being shipped or...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

I dare you:cool: If it was gonna get bent, I wanted to be while it was working, not before it was installed! But I get your point.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Gave her a bath. My main objective was to do some work in the garden, but 10 minutes before I got out there a storm unleashed. Cleared back up, but too wet to do anything.

    Titan 48" tooth bar

I knew I would need washer(s) since the width of the bar was 3/4" shorter than the bucket (48" inside bucket to 47 1/4" advertised length). I didn't want to have 1 washer on the first bolt and 3-4 washer on the second bolt of the same side, but I guess that's a personal opinion:D Anyway, with...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

That will be my action plan for tooth bar #3, if it comes the same way. More likely I planned on cutting enough of the weld to bend the mounting tab where it should be and re-weld it. But....I admit I did not think of the 2x4 solution, so thanks! The problem is/was that I really didn't want...

    Titan 48" tooth bar

I ordered a 48" toothbar from Titan (palletforks.com) on Wednesday 5/8 and they arrived Friday 5/10:D The packaging was a cardboard sheet folded longwise over the bar and taped in the middle and then the short ends were folded over the ends of the tooth bar and taped. But they arrived in...

I have a Husqvarna 435 refurb that I picked up last year for around $150. It's been great after a quick tune and real chain. 9.2# for the head and I have a 16" bar on it. Just saw the last post: I use/have used Oregon 20LPX with good results.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The last few days! B7100 HST got the oil/filter changed, front drive gear box(s) fluid changed, air filter, and greased. I also ordered a 4' toothbar from Titan (palletforks) on Wednesday and got it on Friday. Unpacked and laid it on the bucket to find that the one 'ear' was welded on out of...

    Trailer Advice!!

Ok, my head is spinning. I have a 95 B7100 HST 4x4 (~1,265#) FEL (~477# with bucket) and wheel weights (~150#) = approx. 1,900#. If I go with a single axle, 78"x14' trailer, it weighs 880# which gives me a 2110# capacity (Theoretically) If I go with a dual axle 7' x 16' car hauler, it...

Another update:cool: I made a few maintenance decisions. I pulled the dipstick on the hydro and the fluid is clear and full and the (Kubota) filter is extremely clean so I decided to work the existing fluid and make the change next spring. I got anti-freeze and radiator hoses since mine...

An update for anyone interested and a little back story: I found this site years ago when I started looking for a used Kubota with a loader and hopefully a brush hog. I found this particular '95 B7100HST with a 1630 FEL and Woods RM400 finish mower on a Friday evening for a good price. That...

Thank you both! I'm working my way in. I thought they'd be the same pn for the O-rings and strainers, but they are not? I'm putting an order together now. I pulled the dipstick and the fluid is clear as water and the filter looks good from the outside. Wish they wrote a date on the filter...
