    GST shifting question

I don't have super utd in mine and it seems fine. I did however use a high quality oil, Shell Donax TD. They have a Donax TDL, which would be comparable to SUTD. I run Shell 15w-40 in mine in the summer, and just changed to the Rotella 5w-40 for winter use, T6 I believe it was, full synthetic...

    GST shifting question

The problem is most likely you. The GST has a computer that judges how hard or soft to make the shift relative to speed and other factors, if you vary the throttle during the shifts you are probably confusing the computer, keep it at a steady speed and see what it does.

    Front axle fluid change questions

I have a L3410 and it takes about what the manual says. Did you take all the drain plugs out? They are down low on pinion cases on each wheel, in fact so low that you have to stick something under there to divert it to a drain pan, or the oil will run out on the rims.

    Oil Problem

That's a tough one, low oil pressure for any length of time could damage allot of parts. The rod or crank bearings will usually be the first to go though. At a minimum I would say replace crank, rods, pistons, and rings. Could have damaged the camshaft and lifters, they would have been lucky to...

    How many people have cattle?

I know a couple in northern California, I emailed to see if they know someone in the southern part of the state. That's great that you support the local farmers. The problem with beef and pork is the government, you have to go through all sorts of paperwork and inspections to sell processed...

    How many people have cattle?

The masses have no idea what they are eating. And yes, ground beef in the store, especially pre-packaged, can be made up of many different head of cattle, all the pieces from the run go into a big hopper and get ground up together. Mine are 100% black angus, and there is a difference in quality...

What Kubota model works best for my use?

Sounds like an L3400 would be worked to the max. I have an L3410 GST and I push the limits of what it is capable of every time I use it, and I am doing what you are talking about using it for. The HST is nice, but for heavy duty type work you would probably be better off with a GST. A 6' bushhog...

    How many people have cattle?

Scott, yes that documentary is pretty scary, and fairly accurate. My cows all graze on pasture, or are fed hay and graze in the winter. They also may receive a grain supplement to keep them in condition if need be. They are not fed straight corn or a feed that is primarily corn. They receive...

Why is the clutch pedal locked down on my L4200 GTS?

The plate could be bonded to the flywheel or pressure plate now, if it still creeps with the clutch depressed. It shouldn't move at all with the clutch depressed, provided the free play in the pedal is adjusted correctly.

You could check with Forward Air. Generally how that works is someone takes it to a terminal and drops it off, then you pick it up at your terminal.
