I am using tractor hydraulic/transmission from tractor supply.

My 30 year old leaks a few drops, i know it has oil. May worry when no drops. My old 50+ year old ford leaked for the past 35 years, sold it still leaking

Did the same thing as a kid on an old 50 olds. luck I put the trans fluid in a new bucket and reinstalled. Was living in an apartment with my parents and this was not a good situation. BUt it all worked out

what about blowing backwards into the tank, get an idea of restrictions and if it works for awhilte it could be stuff settleing into the fitting.

Seems like now is the time to install a couple of bungs half way up your tank. My buggy tank is 3/16in and I have just tapped for a fitting.

A drive shaft shop should be able to make this the correct length

Regular things to check, try removing gas cover for vent problem test, see if fuel is passing through filter, not sure what your tractor uses lift fuel to the injection pump.

Worked great my tank has only 2 hoses off the side. One to vent the other is a return off the injectors. The old metal filter was filthy with water and brown crud. Tractor sat outside for the past 6 or more years. Now i can keep an eye on the bowl.

No problem get 2 and your in for $150. they seem nice but I don't have that kind of money for that. If I want onw I will be making one.

I have a b7800 tractor and the original filter assembly is not there just an inline filter, I purchase the new housing and filter. seems easy enough to place the filter in place But I see a coil of hose coming out of the fuel tank that is stoped up at the end. Am i correct in assuming that this...

Take it apart and have the hydraulic shop match the parts.

Thats the fill and check stick. I personally am using hydraulic/transmission fluid combo fluid. But others will only use kubota's fluid.

I just did my bucket cyl. for my b7800 Messicks was right in the ball park I think the place I got them was Coleman. I checked everywhere and the prices were even higher. For my bigger cylinders for my case skidsteer they are half the price of the Kubota ones. Bit the bullet and they are working...

just picked up a B7800 1500 hrs sitting outside for the last 6 years hoses look not so perfect but no leaks. Just got rid of a 1969 Ford3500 that I had outside for about 30 years had one hose go out on me. But I have herd the newer hoses do not take the abuse the old ones did.

I would rather grind some to fit then not have the bottom links in double shear
