Hello----My Kubota RTV does not move when I shift into any gear but the speedometer displays the speed as I press the accelerator pedal. If I engage either the Posi traction or the 4 wheel drive lever (or both) it DOES move and seems to respond normally. Whats going on? possibly a sheared axel key in the rear or ???? many thanks for your help!!! Paul

You have either a failed CV joint or a stripped spline in one of the rear wheel hubs. Jack the rear wheels off of the ground, with the park brake set, and see which one of the rear wheels will turn by hand.

Thankyou for your prompt and accurate diagnosis! I found the culprit--- R- rear wheel spins freely. I`ll pull it down and expect to find a stripped hub THANKS!

Splines on axle OK----problem was a broken 6 ball bearing on lower axle joint ( I guess this replaces the u-joint?) Required a complete new axle. Not cheap---
