I checked on crank and everything.its no where to be found.im thinking someone worked on it before and forgot to put bearing back in.probably why piston was hitting head a little.the crank journals look good tho.

Finally got piston out.cant find the connecting rod bearing.does it look like still in cap?didn't seem like any in caps.

According to what I read.you tip the bucket to raise loader back pins high enough to put the two L square shaped pieces into those two square holes to old it.i ended up putting a chain around a tree.and fastening a comealong to it and rachet it enough forward to clear .

I looked at the manual.does the pinion gear come off shaft or one piece.

How do you remove the front two middle oil pan bolts?.the piece that holds front axle is in the way.also can you use a bolt instead of the pin that holds driveshaft couplers.they don't give you much room to pound out the pins.

All other pistons are good.on number cylinder the top of piston just barely put a triangle imprint.no metel is gone.

Pulled the the head off.the cylinders all look good.but I noticed on the head a triangle shape wear the piston hit.wasnt able to remove pistons yet.what all would cause this to look for?

Is this what number I need to order correct piston for my L2900 tractor?

Yeah all the ones I seen was 83mm.except for the oversized one with cylinders bored.dont take much to confuse me.lol

On the L2900 specs it says that it has D1503 engine and that bore is 84 mm.on all the pistons I seen for D1503 was 83 mm pistons . Is 83 mm piston correct size and the rings take up rest of bore diameter to make it 84 mm?

I moved the injectors around.but still number one cylinder isn't firing.

The factory Kubota list several different part numbers for pistons.how do I know which piston mine has if I need one?

Number one cylinder is 230 then added oil it went to 330. Number two cylinder is at 400. Number three cylinder is at 430 Bad thing never had a dead cylinder until I tryed different injectors.so my guess first cylinder must had more compression to ignite the fuel.any ideas to why that is?

My loader don't have the stands for removing the loader.how can I keep it held up while removing it from tractor
