Getting a little fixed at a time on my tractor.onto a broken front pinion shaft.i probably only use my tractor maybe 5 or 6 hours a year and will only be using 4 wheel drive if ever stuck.id like to just replace the pinion part.can I just pound it out the back without removing any axles?

does the wire from alternator that has slow blow fuse feed the power to the switch? Or does it send power to fuse box then to the switch.also is car slow blow fuses fit same as Kubota.

I had power and cranking good.then tryed it about 20 minutes later.no lights on dash or anything.ba

It is on a L2900 with D1503 engine.head gasket looks like two piece and metel.im thinking that where cylinder is feels like ring is high that it goes up so crushes when torqued.is this way it goes?

There wasn't any instructions with them.and I didn't see any dots or anything to tell which way should be up.

That's the new one I ordered.i ordered wrong part number.old one I took out was marked std.i thought I ordered standard when installing them.but nope that was my mistake

Looked at parts book and should have ordered 17311-22310 std size ones.i stoped when couldn't turn crank so all I got to do is pop the caps and put correct ones in.didnt continue assembling rest of engine

I see what I did wrong.the bearings sent was 17311-22970 .those are oversize bearings and thicker than standard ones ain't they.

I put new pistons and rings and connecting rod bearings.i ordered standard bearings but don't think there right.now won't turn.

I ordered that part number for my L2900 with D1503 engine.thats what parts book said it took.this is what I received.im thinking the rod should be straight where piston pin bushing is.but as you can see this one slants.is it suppose to be like that

I know suppose to put gaps away from middle expansion ring.but do you line up the gap of top and bottom oil ring.or do you offset then like two compression rings.

I got the piston and rod out.the rod has a 6 on it and cap a 1.and on bother has a part number 9775.iv looked and no rod for a D1503 motor has that number.also my guess the number 6 on the rod.ment that went in number 6 cylinder.mine is only 3 cylinder.does Kubota even make a 6 cylinder? Nothing...

I noticed you look in parts book it gives part number.then you look on Kubota OEM parts.has a different part number and says replaces several numbers.

When I look up parts I always go to factory parts site and wright down factory part numbers.instead of looking for the tractor model.seems like you can find more parts that way.which is the best way? to make sure parts fit.

On mine it is the same bolts. That hold rocker shaft to.its the 3 by springs.

All the ones I see has the 8 bolt holes for valve cover.mine has the three studs that fastens up top.will them heads work with my valve cover type.

That's just it.the journals have no grooves or anything.they look good.
