    QH10 with box scraper issue

Nice find on the hitch strap placement! I just looked in my own BB manual and those straps should be inside at the top. Good luck! (y)

    Guns...Times have changed...

If I'm incorrect on this please post it here, but...... The NY '7 round' legislation unintentionally 'handcuffed' all LEO's b/c there was no LEO exemption built into the wording of the 'act'.... The 'problem' was quickly rectified, and the round count changed to 10 as well.

    Guns...Times have changed...

How could the US gov't ban firearms? There's probably at least as many guns in this country as there are people! There's NO WAY the gov't could round up all those guns....The truth is that guns are here to stay, period. Responsible ownership is, IMO, the real path to gun acceptance in this...

    QH10 with box scraper issue

Have you tried picking up the 3 pt after backing in? It looks like the 'bad' pin is not fully seated in the QH 'pocket'. Perhaps picking up the BB will seat the pin, allowing the retainer 'wedge' to pop into place. In any case, it appears that the adjustable side link is too low.

    Guns...Times have changed...

Great thread! I enjoy seeing people engage in spirited discussion. Never a hunter, don't think of killing small game as fun....But I accept that our society allows hunting, and that many find it to be a very enjoyable activity. I'm a army veteran, a retired LEO, and law-abiding firearms...

    Please ID this part!

I found this on the right floorboard of my B2601 while operating the tractor; I searched the immediate area but could not find where this 'nut' came from. Any information is appreciated! :)

List of grill guard fabricators and or skid plates..

Personally I feel the fit is OK. It does not perfectly match the grille guard contours but getting it positioned to where it will do it's job is easy. Any side gaps are no larger than the guard's perforation holes themselves. The guard does have some adjustability with oblong mounting holes on...

    Leaking hydraulic hose

I have no experience in this matter BUT....My tractor dealer 'makes' hydraulic hoses, seemingly on a 'while you wait' basis. If you removed the defective hose, and took it to such a hose shop, they may be able to make a replacement (proper fittings, length, pressure, etc) for you.

List of grill guard fabricators and or skid plates..

Here's a pic of my newly-installed 5elevendesigns grille guard (B2601). Nice item, easy installation, excellent attachment hardware. Upon first examining this product I thought it was a little too expensive, but in reality it's an excellent investment and a quick upgrade. Mine is in 'chassis...

    B2601 - Mowing & Weight

New member here, new B2601....no mowers.....I was going to suggest to the OP to consider / look at the rear 3-pt finish mowers available, another mowing option (PTO driven, possibly quick hitch compatible). After reading the thread I'd agree that a dedicated mower would be the best, ZT or...

    What type of motor oil?

I'm planning to use Rotella T6 15W-40 full synthetic in my B2601 when 50 hours rolls around. Love full syn in all my vehicles (T6 5W-40 in my Cummins RAM) and I'm certain the little Kubota will love the 15W-40 'Rosmella' :ROFLMAO:

Selecting a box blade for a subcompact

Ultimately it will depend how effectively your machine can put the power to the ground, cuz a BB of just about any size will be capable of digging in & overwhelming the tractor. Additionally, the material you are working has a big part in the result of the work, as stated previously. I'd like...

    What type of Diesel fuel?

Not sure if the OP has 'biodiesel' available in their locale, but I'd be reluctant to use it in my Kubota. I have used it in my on-road diesel pickup (in western US, not so prevalent on the east coast) and did not notice any difference (except color, bright green). Find a high(er) volume...

Selecting a box blade for a subcompact

You certainly have 'burnt the midnite oil' with that spec chart, impressive. Well organized! I'm a new tractor owner, having recently acquired a B2601. I got a 54" Land Pride BB1254 box blade as part of the package. I knew I'd have some work for the BB, but along with the FEL it's getting more...

anybody find a brake on notifier?

If I'm not sitting on my tractor the brakes are locked on. RalphVa stated it well (above), I second his opinion; using the brakes all the time and it's automatic that I disengage them with a brake tap before moving. (y)
