I would think the turn of the wheel would help with chatter also. Seems too me that kicking the chips toward the tractor would help "pull" the grinder into the stump. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I like Crowder. He does a radio show every Thursday and it's usually on YouTube Friday. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

McMaster is the bomb. Where I work we do low enough volumes that we pricy get all our hardware from McMaster. It's so nice to be able to just download solid models. The little bit of extra cost is totally worth what you get from them. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I think I've actually seen graphite impregnated as well. That may be a better choice to prevent buildup. Sand/dirt/dust/debris tends to attach itself to oily things. Not sure if the bronze bushings are oily enough for that. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Plastics aren't really up for any sort of load. Since you're going as far as you are with this I would avoid the plastic and probably just go with bronze. If the friction concerns you, to can get oil impregnated bronze. I think plastic would do your project a disservice. Also, any plastic that...

    Daily Chuckle

The ones with hooky ends are the worst. Like trying to pull an Ethernet cable out of the rat's nest behind the computer. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Holy crap, that almost looks like it was braised in an oven or something. I don't think I've seen a weld as nice that, and I've seen some welds. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Front Hitch

That looks pretty cool. I'd like to put one on my 7100 but I've got the suitcase weights up front that get in the way. I've been trying to come up with front weight designs that are a little more compact and integrates the Reese receiver. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

WANTED AG tires and rims for B7100 - New is OK

Do you have the newer (6 bolt) or the older (4 bolt) tires? I'm interested in getting some turfs, but to be honest CT is a little far for me. If you're interested we might be able to work something out. Mine are 6-12 fronts and 8.3-16 rears. No fill or weights or anything. 6 bolt pattern. On one...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

My dad's and brother's tractors each have a hook that holds the top link when it's not in use. I want so lucky to have that on my tractor when I bought it. Well, now I am. Had some sort of rod in the scrap bin, little bending and voilà. On top of that I've been working on wiring my tractor...

    What's wrong with this picture???

I would venture to guess we're looking at the back of it. I had that thought at first, too, but then thought about it the other way and it seemed to look right. Could be wrong though. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Make sure you check it's length through the entire motion of the 3 point arms. The length of the shaft may change between raising the toilet and lowering it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I've been working on converting my 3pt blower chute from hand crank to winch driven with a wireless remote. Got the winch installed finally. Still need to wire it up. Don't have the relay or switch or connectors yet. I did throw some wheels on it, though, so I can dolly it around without the...

    Pesky Pine Cones

A sweeper is probably the best bet for the point needles. I have a sweeper with a dethatcher right in front of it. I think that is necessary. There are also pine straw rakes available, but I've never used one, or seen one used. Come to think of it, I've seen the term estate rake be used for both...

    First attempt

So it doesn't hook to the 3 point directly, but sits on top of the trailer hauler? Seems good to me. And 480 lbs is not nothing, that's for dang sure. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

The fronts of your 7100 are filled? Any idea how much weight that adds? I need a little more front ballast (no FEL) but I thought I did the math and figured I wouldn't get much weight out of it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
