    Flag holder.

Your flag holder looks great!! If interested, I may have some older IH seed plates that may work in your planter. I was going to use the different ones for Christmas tree ornaments.....until the wife put the kabosh to that idea.

    Flag holder.

Nice "B" with the cultivator setup!! A neighbor is taking over our sweetcorn sales but I helped with and showed him the tricks on using our modern Cockshutt 4 row planter two days ago. An air seeder it isn't!! LOL! But it also draws spectators and does put seed into the ground still...

Help Educate me please- Deere 503 rotary cutter mounting for L2501

I have that same model that I used behind my B2650. It'll work just fine behinde your L2501. Since a heavy duty flail mower found a new home here, the old JD 503 has sat unused.

I can't seem to find any "toy tractor" in your pics??? The Pirhana tooth bar makes a world of difference on my bucket as well when moving dirt!!

    Stump Grinders for L6060

The WG24 should be awesome behind your tractor! Just don't use it as a metal detector like I inadvertently did. :ROFLMAO:

Looking for buying and selling advice - 12+ Acre Lot

Here's my B2650 Cab Fabrication. When the boys were still living at home, we'd lift the cab parts on/off by hand. Now that they're gone....I mounted a hand winch (think boat trailer) to the wall and can install/remove the pieces easily by myself. The cab heater is plumbed in place of the...

Looking for buying and selling advice - 12+ Acre Lot

I live on and maintain just under 19 acres here. three are tillable, close to 5 acres are mowed and the rest are wooded. I also own and maintain a 2.5 acre building site about 6 miles away (mostly lawn now). And have a 50+ acre wood lot with lake frontage to maintain that's a two hour drive...

    Bought my 1st Kubota.

Welcome to OTT, Tony!! What a nice spot you've got! Great tractors and pics as well. Since you mentioned dairy and flat land in Wisconsin.....are you anywhere near Cumberland, Wi? I have relatives there and it's a beautiful dairyland area....amongst other things as well. @jimh406 made a...

When would you replace mower blades (B2601)

I agree there's still some life left in your older used blades. I use blades in that shape for the first few mownings in the spring!! Finding the stones, debris, etc. that's left over from winter snwoblowing into the yard with the old blades doesn't irk me so much. And especially mowing the...

Which Root rake grapples are the toughest?

Here's my grapple dolly. Rolls around very easy on my concrete floor. One could also put on some "foot pads" instead of wheels for sitting on a gravel floor or outdoors.

NEW WG24 Stump Grinder - Initial impressions!

I touched some buried 1/2" rebar with my WG24 and it instantly took out the outer perimeter teeth. Not much left worth trying to sharpen on them. LOL!! You can take a look at them Here on my remote camera install. See Post #s 6 & 9. This is a former thread on replacement teeth and...

NEW WG24 Stump Grinder - Initial impressions!

Your method of burning out stumps can work if you have the time. But you also have to be mighty careful and know the conditions underground as well. I’d be very leery of using/recommending that method in wooded areas. It’s not unusual for a smoldering root to ignite another one underground...

NEW WG24 Stump Grinder - Initial impressions!

Congrats on your new grinder!! The more stumps you grind....the better your grinding technique gets. Rocks and buried metal are not very kind to the teeth. You might want to get some replacement teeth to have on hand for the eventual "oops". You'll probably find that the inner teeth on...

    Electrolysis for cast iron

Here's my inexpensive soda blaster when I don't want to fire up and change over the sandblast cabinet; This Speedblaster and the feed grade soda can clean alot of goods on the cheap. You do need an aircompressor, of course. :)

    Knife (and other things) sharpening.

No way can I compare with Ken’s exemplary work!! This is my very first attempt over the past couple of weeks at making some knives and tooling for some upcoming leatherwork. I bought a couple of tanned half cowhides to make some leather welding and general shop aprons. Thought I might as well...

Summit 3rd Function Kit Install on Kubota B2650

I have the "EA 55" Wicked Root Rake Grapple" and am quite happy with it. It was purchased just before all the price hikes started to take place. I think it was around $2K at the time. I just checked and see the EA 55" grapple is on sale at the moment for $2400. Not a bad price considering...

Summit 3rd Function Kit Install on Kubota B2650

That looks nice! If my backhoe went on/off a little more frequently than it does now....I think I'd redo my bracket to give a little more clearance for the quick connect. Maybe I could get by with an angled shim or something as well. I like your idea in making your bracket. Did you purchase...

Summit 3rd Function Kit Install on Kubota B2650

Hi Tom, Glad the pics and my write up helped. I agree, the included instructions could be a little more clear for our "owner install" jobs rather than a dealer installing them. Nice to know it helps people decide to do the job themselves. since you mention that you also have the...
