What did you do to your Implement today

Awesome work! I just became the recipient of a rotary cutter (unknown brand) and following your work on here has given me lots of ideas about what to do with mine. Hope it turns out half as well as yours did! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Whistling

Of course! Everyone knows that's the place to go if you need baked goods (cakes, etc.). Got birthday cakes for my kids from there several times and lived just down the road from their location. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

New weld table kit all done

Looks good! I am really wanting to learn to weld, too. I was actually at the local lowes today and happened to stop and look at the Lincoln 180 welder. Had a friend recommend it but I've also had people tell me to look into the Miller auto-set models too. Still looking... hopefully one day...

    B2650 ballast box

Thank you, Cousin! I will admit I was sweating the chainsaw holder... if that didn't turn out right or if the concrete had pushed the sides in or something like that when I poured it, I would have been stuck. But it all worked out just right. Whew! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    B2650 ballast box

You would be correct, Sir... not so easy to just tip to one side. I didn't add it in the first batch of pics, but I actually have caps for each of the tool holders. And just in case I forget to put them on or get caught in a downpour - yes, I have a little drain hole under each one [emoji4]...

    Whistling

Momentary hijack - we lived in Victoria, TX too for several years after I retired. And I actually spent most of my growing up years just a few miles from there. Interesting because at least 3 of us on here have spent time there and we're not talking about a major metropolitan area! Done with...

    B2650 ballast box

Thanks Pauly... I'm really happy with the way it all turned out. You have no idea how many times I turned that layout over in my head before I actually did it. Simple layout really, but I knew once I poured the concrete whatever I had was what I was gonna be stuck with. The ballast box...

    B2650 ballast box

Let the concrete set up overnight (quikrete fast setting mix - sets in 20 minutes). Wanted to let it cure as much as possible before moving it around - didn't want to chance getting a bunch of cracks in the concrete from engine vibration or general moving driving. Took it out and drove...

    B2650 ballast box

Hey there, fellow (new) B2650 owner. I do a lot of grapple work in tight spaces with mine, so rather than use an implement on the back like most operators, I got the Kubota ballast box (B8160, I believe). I had been carrying 300 lbs of 50 lb sand bags in it up to now and that seemed to work...

What did you do to your Implement today

Nice! How's the 2650 do pulling the Land Pride 1860? Just got a 2650 a few weeks ago and I've been looking at cutters... Local dealer recommended the 1860. Just been a little worried the 2650 would struggle with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rotary cutter advice

Rear wheel width is 53" and some change. And yes, the 2650 is pushing 19.5 PTO hp, so by that it would be underpowered for quite a few cutters. I've seen posts on here from various people saying they've had no problem pulling 5 ft cutters with the 2650, and my local dealer recommended the 18...

    Rotary cutter advice

Okay everybody... Wondering if anyone on here has a B2650 and uses a Land Pride RCR18 series rotary cutter. If so, what do you think about it with regard to tractor power, etc.? Does the 2650 pull it okay or would I be better served to go with a 15 or even a 12 series cutter with my 2650? Any...

    Finally got it...

You did a nice job putting the hooks on - you can swing by here anytime and give me a hand putting some on my bucket! [emoji4] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Color codes of hoses at joystick valve?

Just happened to ask my dealer and his lead mechanic that very question this afternoon. I asked the mech what the significance was for each of the colors - or as you said, what does red, blue, yellow, etc., match up to. He said the different colors are merely used to keep track of each hose -...

    Finally got it...

Granted I've only had it a whopping 5 days... but so far I've been using the snot out of the ratchet rake and grapple. I use the ratchet rake to tear out and pile up underbrush, hook a brush grubber to the drawbar and pull saplings root and all out of the ground, use the chainsaw to fell bigger...
