    What's cookin' boys?

This was Sunday dinner fare. Bone-in turkey breast I split and slowly roasted on the grill with garlic and a darned good Cajun seasoning I found. After seeing some others’ cuisine, I might need to get a smoker....[emoji41] Usual suspects beyond the turkey. The grill “foiled” potatoes were...

    What's cookin' boys?

David, it’s funny you and sheepfarmer mention that...... We don’t have a B&B. But I was a restaurant “cook” for a long while, including catering. Never considered myself a chef. My wife is an awesome pastry baker - all self-taught. We both have 30+ years of retirement eligible employment, and...

    What's cookin' boys?

Arancini with cheese, and baked eggs over a fresh tomato sauce with Romano, fontina, and mozzarella topping. Beef short ribs for a side. I’ve wanted to make arancini for a while. They were perfect in my book. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How Is Your Beef Supply

No beef issue for us, but delayed. Just heard from our supplier that local slaughterhouses are backed up big time. Emphasis on the local processors. We’re looking at mid-June for our quarter. No sweat, we’ll make due... Just guessing the astronomical prices that guy saw were a result of (1)...

    How Is Your Beef Supply

I was at the local hardware store this morning. Guy in there commonly goes to local livestock/animal auction, which apparently is still being held. He said he was there last week, I think. Rabbits bringing $30-50 a head. Baby chicks at $8 a head. 2 young turkeys brought $75 A HEAD...

    BX2380/2680 Question

I just posted on the “What have you done...” section.... Love my BX, but within a year or two I wished I had gotten a B. Had the BX 7 years and love it. Use it 12 months a year. Not as much for HP, but more for added weight, traction, and FEL capacity. The guys that have been around OTT a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just a quick lather, rinse, repeat....Lord knows it needed it.... Looks pretty good for 7 years.... that tractor and I have done a lot of work in those 7 years. I often say here I should have gotten a “B” series when I got this BX. Just a little more ass.... Still holds true, but I love my...

    What's cookin' boys?

I’m late... love the bacon and John T’s smoking.... Here’s my wife’s request for Mother’s Day dinner. We did not to go to my mother’s due to COVID. Chicken Parmigiana, bucatini, sautéed broccoli, mushrooms, salad, garlic knots, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fix it or leave it alone?

For what it's worth, several years ago had a load shift in my truck when I had to do a hard-stop. Pushed the front of the box tight to the cab in the center of the box. Didn't break anything, but the bend was something I couldn't let go. Concerned ice would build up and break rear window...

    Mid mowing deck

I went to https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ and after agreeing to the legal, put in your MMM model RC60-21B. Everything came back to B2150. If you go there and search your tractor's model (there's 4 or 5 versions of B7100), hit "Local Options" and it will show compatible...

    3PH while mowing

Papa - what I would try is running a chain from one of the eyelets that you would pin the 3PH to, to you draw bar. Maybe a little shorter? Just throwing out an idea.

    Shopping Cart

Same here... Several of our bigger stores have parking lots with some slope/grade to them. I park the Silverado strategically to avoid the run-away cart left by some idiot!

    3PH while mowing

Yeah, if the bungee worked, I’d try a check chain. I think my lower lift arms continue to drop quite a bit after the MMM gets to it mowing height (3”). Might work without interfering with mower height. Worth a try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3PH while mowing

Following Dave and SDT’s recommendations, one should not tow certain trailers with a 3PH-mounted drawbar for the reasons they mention. One can limit the lower level of fall just by using check-chains, but that will also likely limit the fall of your MMM. I have a BX also. 2 suggestions: 1...

    Oil pan repair?

Guessing the removal might be a sticky gasket? For a possible replacement pan, look up Lance....”007kubotaguy” here on OTT. Send him a private message. He has a bunch of older L parts. He’s south of your border, but I think he’s savvy for trade with north of the border. Sent from my iPhone...

    Considering a drone

My son in law has a little drone, given to him as a birthday gift from his brother. I think DJI is the brand. They live in downtown Philadelphia, so he likes to bring it here to the “sticks” and play with it. It’s amazing what that thing can do with the video quality, etc. We have about 6...

B2320 - feathering three point, not great

It takes some practice, but I can kinda "slap" the lever up/down with my index finger and thumb. Just a short, quick motion to activate the 1/4-inching. Like you, use it mostly with my BB. Becomes second nature after a while. It's far from a good feature on BX and some B's, but I've been...

    How Is Your Beef Supply

‘Cat - we’re very rural. Heard the same about freezers here as a coworker’s son was looking for one. Of course, given we’re so rural, it’s not like there’s 100’s kicking around for sale anyway.... You’re mention of farmers....I do have a quarter coming from a long-time beef farmer 5 miles...
