What can we learn from this experience?

'Cat - I have not participated in any of the COVID-related threads, except for 1 post, I think. I have to go to work everyday. I will continue to do so, but things are much different now. Your questions are intriguing, and very appropriate. I think there's much going on at the...

Few implement questions for you guys

I took the mouldboard off my MB and made a small ripper tooth attachment that bolts in its place. Re-purposed part of an old manure spreader paddle. My driveway is ~70 years old, and I was able to get through it with several passes of the ripper, then bolted on the mouldboard…. More weight...

    B2650 1st oil change

Chad - I'd have been surprised if your thread didn't turn toward the change/don't change fluid discussion. Seen that same discussion 100's of times in my 7 years here. Not knocking any of the guys or your original question. Glad your service went well! I enjoy doing most service work...

3 pt implement taking off and putting on

I just came across this a couple months ago. Haven't looked a them real close or gotten one yet, but I think it would make my Harbor Freight QH a little easier to use with a couple of my implements. Kenny is a member here on OTT, and folks really like his products...

    What's cookin' boys?

Gosh skeets, not a fan of Guinness, so bread or braised with ribs sound good to me! John got me thinking about Reubens, so that’s on my menu tonight...[emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gopher War

In my younger days, I got about 100 woodchucks a year. Right now is prime time in NY, I got 11 one night in early-April. Longest shot about 575 yards, shortest about 2 feet....

    Service Manual Recommendation

Dave - www.kubotabooks.com might have a free WSM. Absent that, I would likely go directly to a Kubota dealer, whether local or online. Coleman and Messicks are two that come to mind. I’ve purchased from Messicks a couple times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Checking up on ott neighbors

Sheepfarmer- thanks for posting that. I had also noticed Flip’s absence. NYS is really a hot spot. We’re very rural here, but the case numbers are growing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What's cookin' boys?

We’re doing fried chicken, tater salad and steamed corn for supper. Kinda like a socially-distanced picnic. Just my bride and I.....but the kids are all okay, so that’s great. I’m a great seafood fryer, chicken not so much. No Colonel Sanders. This is pretty close....Smells SO good...

    What's cookin' boys?

Daren - beef tips look great! Bucktail - I’ve been craving reubens for a while. Last few years we’ve been doing reubens in the office on Saint Patrick’s day. We all bring stuff in and I make them for the crew. I make a pretty mean reuben....don’t like any of the ingredients, but I love a...

New L4701. Should dealer have checked a few things?

Yeah, couple things you should check after a little use as others said- front axle fluid level, hydraulic fluid level and definitely re-torque the wheels. My little BX was about a quart low of HST fluid after a little use. Probably just some air. The front axle was also low. Sent from my...

    Buying in this economy

I think your prediction is correct. I have gotten my last 2 or 3 Silverados under good circumstances, IMO. No one knows future of COVID, but I think the 3rd quarter of the year could be favorable. I have a 2017, so I'm not in the market for quite a while....
