Upgrading ? LX or L series

If your working in woods a lot like I do. R4's have thicker sidewalls and presumably less likely to get a flat.

Upgrading ? LX or L series

I have 10 acres with 1/2 wooded. I thought about a L series but for me working in the woods it was too tight ( I had a B7510 and used my next door neighbors L3010 occasionally). I replaced my B7510 with an LX2610 to avoid EGR and DPF. I got it with the L series sized R4 tires 15x19.5 rears. and...

Need opinions on Looking at a couple tractors

Have you considered getting a 3pt stump grinder instead of digging them out? It's cheaper than a backhoe and easier to store. This is the one i use with My LX2610 it works well with it. ( have a tight woods and an L or Grand L are too big for working in my woods)...

The rest remotes levers are top of fender behind the 3pt control. Just in front of the ROPS and the cell phone holder

1.33 acres, heavily wooded and overgrown... Need advice on a tractor purchase!

Just my $0.02.... drive both the BX and the B2601 around the dealer lot. Biggest thing I would consider if me. Is the maneuverability on you lot. I have 10 acres and 1/2 of it is an overgrown apple orchard. I got an LX2610 because I needed move fel capacity than my old B7510 but the woods are...

Those rear remotes are Kubota ones. The ones used on cab tractors are different than the ROPS ones.

    Grapple. Wins and Losses

I have a grapple and forks. There is a place for both. But in my case the forks are used once in a blue moon. The grapple is on the tractor as much as the bucket. The stump grinder is also a huge labor saver for me...

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

RimGuard in the rear tires last 2 tractors. Would not ever consider NOT loading the tries. It makes a HUGE difference in traction. The ballast effect for the loader is just a plus factor.

Too Steep for a B01 or Even a BX?

Just a quick note about commercial grade zero turns. My old Cub Cadet Z54 ( more of a prosumer than a true commercial grade) is 12 years old just gave it to one of my daughter for their new place. I got a lightly used Scag Tiger Cat 2 to replace it with. The Scag can mow foot tall ( or higher)...

    Insurance value vs. Replacement Value

Yes because they are on the same policy and that they physically are adjoining properties. Yes you would have coverage even under the solely definition.

    Insurance value vs. Replacement Value

Insurance guy here... ACV = Market value I.E what you could buy the tractor for from a private party. Stated Value = See ACV above this only pays ACV up to the "stated amount". Agreed value = This is where you have an appraisal for the value and the company and you "agree" on the value that...

Affordable hydraulic top link option for LX series without waiting 6 months.

Thank you for posting that... That's another good option. One comment is the Sparepartsholland one has a lock block with the cylinder. For some folks that might be desirable for others that might be a problem. Especially if they are using a float function that would be incompatible with a lock...

Affordable hydraulic top link option for LX series without waiting 6 months.

Perhaps you could use a pin that you could have go thru the hole in the end of the link. Then have 2 light duty chains come down from the ROPS to connect on each side of the pin. That would keep the link up as well as keeping it from swinging Left-Right.

    Zero Turn Mowers

Also look at Scag mowers Tiger Cat or Turf Tiger. Unlike most all mowers now days the spindles are greasable also the blade bolts go thru the spindle leaving the bearing preload unaffected.
