    Adding Rear Remotes

This is a L2800 that I broke into the existing hydraulic plumbing to install rear remotes. I have know idea why you would need to remove a fender or tire to do something similar. Obviously, you have different tractor...but hydraulics systems all have hoses you could replumb...map out your...

Need opinions on a box blade.

When I got mine...I researched here and other places and everyone said to get one the same width as rear tires... Most advised against something too wide ( not enough HP)... And that too narrow would result in more passes to clean up area... Only you can decide based on your needs and costs...

    Hydraulic Thumb BH70

I bought my BH76 with a manual thumb and very quickly realized that was a pain. Plumbed the rear remotes myself and added a hydraulic ram...works great. Don't even bother to add thumb unless you get hydro...they are fairly easy to install...and I use mine all the time. Worth every penny...

    Backhoe hydraulic hose L3400 HST - BH76

Make sure you relieve all the hydro pressure by letting implements drop. Get oil drain pan or rags...break the end loose...get alittle hydro fluid running out...should be about it. Word of caution...be very careful with the fittings they give you, Kubota sometimes uses propriatary fittings...

    Stump grinder build

Been following from the beginning...love your effort...nothing like figuring something out, making it and then enjoying the use of it. I wish I had some of your milling machines and skills... Labor of love, excellent build, great effort posting the build progress... So I have to ask...how...

    Mechanical Thumb for a BH75 fit a BH76?

This is a 76...I bought the kubota thumb and soon realized what a pain the manual is...so I plumbed the rear for the hydraulic ram and love it. I think the part should fit both...if I remember correctly, I think that the kubota part was the same for both as well. Maybe ask a dealer.

    M4011 Backhoe thumb cylinder

Not a good picture...but I added the ram to my manual...and love it!! The above poster has good info...figure out the throw for the ram and buy one that fits how you want to fab it... I added the rear remotes...three of them...plumbed to work the thumb and TnT for the box blade...so I don't...

    BackHoe For L3301

Do NOT get a 3 pt backhoe...you will tear your rig up. I added a BH76 with subframe to mine...and use it way more than I thought I would...I would have bent my rig up breaking out big rocks and stumps with something hanging on the back. Do yourself a huge favor and get the right tool for the...

    Back hoe Boom issue

I have the BH 76... And have had similar problems two times over the years. Both times I tried what you did to isolate the issue...both times it turned out to be crud...small flecks actually, stuck in the control valve assembly. One time was a paint chip...the other a very small metal chip...

    Stihl MS362 C-M

I have the MS241 C M...for my small saw...that thing is a beast for its size. I like the self adjusting carb because I take it up in the hills (essentially from sea level to over 7000'). That removes the hassle of tweaking the carb every time I move it. You should be good with the larger...

    Stump removal with BH77

I have a similar set up...with the BH76... I have learned to either pay the excavator guy guy to flip them up and out...and then I can move them and burn, cut up or haul off. I will take some on if I want a project...to play in other words...which involves stumps smaller than about 18" in dia...

    Backhoe Question

The previous post sums up what I think too. No way should you mount to a three point...and the correct sub frame is a must. You will find the backhoe very useful...and will torque the hell outa the rig...and so the sub frame distributes that force to the stongest points of the...

Mounted a winch on my L3800

I have a 9000 lbs for mine...a couple of sggestions for you to consider for you. Take that cable off before you use it...and replace with synthetic. Trust me there is alot of kinetic energy stored in a taught cable and if it lets go...you die or your rig does. Go on line for 4 x4 forums...most...

    Backhoe thumb

This is not a great photo but you can sortof see the after market hyd ram ( essentially figured out what ram would fit in the manual set up...that had the most throw). The rear remotes are above the tool cage or the area near the rops...sorry about the crappy photo... You can see the two hyd...

    Backhoe thumb

I don't have any good photos handy...I will take some pics the next time I am up at my place and post. If you search this site...there are some excellent tips and photos scattered around that I picked up to do mine....the other thing I did was went to the dealers...and took alot of photos of...

    Backhoe thumb

When I bought my BH 76 I got the kubota machanical thumb. We have alot of boulders here in volcano land...and I knew I would need one. Whithin about 1 hour of use...in and out of the seat...I realized that I love the idea...but that a hydraulic thumb was the way to go. I re fitted for the...

    Backhoe won't swing

You have crap in the spool valve set. I have the BH 76 and it happens every couple of years... You either have a bad cylinder (not likey)...or just a flake of metal or something in the valve. In my case they usually work their way out after a few hours...and sometimes they actually move to...

    New BH 77 ?

When I put my brand new BH76 on my used L series...mine did the same thing...had a paint chip contaminating the spool valve...eventually found it then worked great. A few years later...same problem ( different speeds)... Same problem...contaminants. Dealer should pull apart the valve...I bet...

    L 39 Backhoe problems

You got crap in a valve. I have had the same symptoms ...and issues. When I originally got my BH I had a paint chip from the manufacturing process in a valve. I was able to get it out and bingo. 5 years later I got something in one of the valves...and it has now finally moved down the block...

BH 92 falls to the ground

The other issue might be contaminants in the valve. When my BH was new...it had a paint chip stuck in the valve block. Took a few hours but it worked its way out. Till it cleared out it would cause leak down or even a non functioning ( mostly) valve. It would eventually work it's way to the...
