Grass clippings and dust getting in behind dash

I think the original post is a question about dust behind the dash of his tractor. I don't know the answer to his question, but I don't think it's in reference to a radiator plugging up.

    How much oil…

For the stopper on the dipstick, I've used JB Weld. Have the dipstick clean and locate the stopper where you want it, then wrap some duct tape around the outside of the stopper as a dam. Set the dipstick in a vice to hold it for a day or so, and put the JB Weld in the form. Don't really need...

    Other Tractors We Own

I bought this tractor from the man who purchased it new in 1966. I cleaned and brightened it up and later when he drove by the farm he asked me this next time he saw me if I bought another 730. He didn't recognize his own tractor. I later built the canopy. It's a 730 Case.

    Other Tractors We Own

Deutz 6206, 60 HP air cooled diesel. Showed this young guy how it all worked, and then had him bring bales in off the field. When he got them all put into place he asked if he could put them back out there and do it again!

Does this harm the steering wheel?

This L305 was in a barn that caught fire. The tractor was not on fire, just close to the fire. The hottest part was at the left rear of the tractor. Notice the lights which were on the fender was melted and ran into the rubber on the tire. The tractor had set outside for about 4-5 years...

    Kubota L245Dt

I agree with Dave's diagnosis. Go to an industrial bearing supplier with the remains of the removed race and the housing. Let them measure and come out with a new bearing at a fair price.

    Adding a backhoe.

Depending on how much you would actually use the BH, how much money you're thinking of spending for the project, etc. I point you in the direction of a separate piece of equipment. Look for a Ditch Witch 2300. It's a nimble machine with BH on the front with a 4 way backfill blade, and digging...

    removing steering wheel

Interesting, you use it several times, brag about how well it work but call the store you bought it from in a demeaning way. Kind of like folks who complain about the food in a restaurant, and keep going back! 😁

Does this harm the steering wheel?

I don't think you need to be concerned about the steering wheel actually breaking off in your hand, only the bushing Flip mentioned. Here's a steering wheel that had been a bit warm. The material melted, but the wheel was still there!

    Rock bucket into grapple

Dan, you asked the question wrong. Does a bear crap in the woods? Sure you can, however it may depend on your building with metal skills, your tools, your time, your funds, what you want it to look like, how you want it to work, and on and on ..... Are you wanting to pick up big rocks, short...

    Plowing with a B series

For 2 1/2 acres, why not have a neighbor with a large tractor and disc go through it? Then you can play (work) all you want. Get it done this Fall so whatever winter you get can help to break it down.

    Looking for a trailer

Another thought. Just because you see the ad on FB does not mean the seller actually has that trailer. They often post up a picture to get your attention and to get you to contact them. THEN....they tell you they don't have it on the lot, but have it on order and will have it in when their...
