    Sometimes I'm Not Very Smart

Dusty, perhaps you can modify something in you home to make things work. You can check with senior center and drug stores, even funeral homes for rental of hospital bed and wheel chair or other hardware needed. I'm thinking medicare covers like 90 days in a nursing home for rehab. Whoever...

Fixing hole in side of block

Joe, you constantly provide pictures of your process. When I'm working on something I seldom think about taking any pictures, except when I begin disassembly. How do you have the time to clean your hands at each stage to get the pictures? Are you doing all of this for a specific purpose?

Random you tube find-Don't load your tractor this way!!

That demonstrates why a trailer needs support at the rear, whether it's attached to the trailer or feet on the ramps. Something needs to keep the weight from lifting the rear of the tow vehicle.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

You need to remember to blow off all those seeds at a place you want that plant to grow! That's how the county gets all the wild garlic, lespedeza, thistle, etc growing everywhere.

    My first tractor…?

Wave-rider, you cold always get a Kubota with rice tires! Kubota was originally a machine designed to use in rice paddies. That is why they are a light weight tractor, had four wheel drive when others didn't, had rice tire options, had a drain in the bottom of the bell housing, had snorkel...

    B6100 bogging after warm?

If the radiator has been neglected as you mention, I'd suggest spraying the fins with a cleaning solution (like purple power) and let it soak for 10-15 minutes and rinse. There tends to be a slight buildup on the fins after time that doesn't get released without something to break it down.

Joe, is your operation taking place in a sand blasting area, desert, or what? I always see the sand in the background.

3rd function kit and grapple for lx2610

I have Kubota 3rd function kit on my L4240, and I chose Kubota because of the steel lines. They are attached with clamps designed and already on the loader. Also had the dealer install. That was about four years ago and it has always worked fine.

    My first tractor…?

You mentioned a neighbor who is familiar with equipment. I would go visit with him. Ask him all the questions you have here and see how he applies your location and needs to his knowledge. Rely on him if you feel you are getting reasonable answers. Ask him about nearby purchases. If he buys...
