Hi gang

Have a B6100 with about 4000 hours that has caused me no issues in 10 years I have had it.

I thought one day I put diesel in it with water as it ran fine at high rpm for about 30 mins, then it started to bog down like bad fuel or something was getting stiff, heavy load.

Shut er down, new fuel filter, bled lines, fires up and runs fine for another 30 mins and same thing happens.

It is properly maintained but am at a loss as to what is going on. I know it needs a new front seal as it drips a tiny amount but otherwise fine.

Suggestions? Wondering if it is overheating and will check temp of coolant today.

Thanks all. Yesterday I took the front grill off and the rad was clogged with fluff from using bush hog. Easy blow out today and should be good to go. Was hard to notice till I opened it up to see the actual rad fins.

there is no temp gauge. I may look at threads to add them but this falls on me for not paying attention to rad fins.

hmm, must be an 'old' machine ?
For <$10 you can buy a pretty anodized section of aluminum tubing that you install in the rad hose. It has a threaded hole for temp sensor.

If the radiator has been neglected as you mention, I'd suggest spraying the fins with a cleaning solution (like purple power) and let it soak for 10-15 minutes and rinse. There tends to be a slight buildup on the fins after time that doesn't get released without something to break it down.
