How big a generator do I need to run a Lincoln 220 stick welder.

Put in a 220V 60A subpanel. Less money than a generator and its branch circuit ready. I have one of those Lincoln tombstones and even with 100' of cable its never tripped the 50A breaker.

Weird Sound on my M6800 Tractor

You are describing a hydraulic shuttle shift. The column shifter operates a hydraulically actuated reverser and the gearbox can be synchronized or unsynchronized. I dont know the specifics of your particular tractor to say exactly how ots supposed to work. I suggest you read the section in the...

    Rimguard customer service AWOL?

Most of the ones made in the past decade do. Ram pickups are a notable exception :devilish: Dan

    Rimguard customer service AWOL?

I think you can relax. I have had CC in the rears for almost 30 years and zero signs of corrosion. I think the coatings on Kubota rims is a little better than the coatings on the old 8N which only lasted 70 years. Dan

    BX 23S Third-Function Question

This is how these installations get screwed up and may well be part of the problem with tgat dealer installation. I don't have any of the instructions but the only "caution" I know of is to NEVER use the backhoe tank return for power beyond. In other words use the loader valve power beyond to...

    BX 23S Third-Function Question

Like I said - lots of different Landpride kits. I assumed the second one I pictured (380-289A) was the one you have. Messicks lists it is for use on multuple BX80 series tractors including the BX23S-1 The only 3rd function diverter kits I have seen are used in conjunction with a 3rd function...

    BX 23S Third-Function Question

Messicks thinks differently because they explicitly state its for the BX80. Here is their other BX80 kit - presumably the one you have. It lists for $895 plus shipping. Dan

    BX 23S Third-Function Question

Landpride makes at least two different "OEM" kits for the BX80/LA340. Here is one that is for all practical purposes identical to the $700 Summit kit. Messicks wants $1150 plus shipping.

    SUDT replacement ?

The Amsoil engineer is partially correct. If you read Kubotas .test report they tweaked the formulation in two areas; They lowered the base kinematic viscosity slightly (both KV40 and KV100) while increasing the viscosity index The goal qas to increase low temperature flow through the hydraulic...
