    Power beyond questions

Welcome to the world of Amazon and Princess Auto hydraulic valves. Acording to that its supposed to have SAE 10 (.875-14) ports. If that were the case a G1/2 sleeve would be loose. If the pirt is G1/2 and the dleeve is SAE-10 the sleeve would be too big. Try a 3/4-16 fitting in that port. That...

    hydraulic failure

Assuming they can get it Messicks wants $1075 for a new top cover. Probably $1500 by the time you add shipping, gaskets, and any other small parts needed. Not a terribly difficult or lengthy job. Dan

How about .825"? That would match G1/2" which is the thread on every P40 I have seen.. SAE-10 is .875 but I have never seen a P40 with an SAE thread on the power beyond port.

It looks overly large to me. Whst is the OD of the male thread? Thats more reliable than a oart number on a bag or box. Dan

    hydraulic failure

Yikes!!! Thats your 3pt lift hydraulic cylinder and not going to be cheap to fix.. I dont see how that would affect movement of the tractor.

Checking the other port was a Hail Mary - incomplete at the 1 yard line.... You need a sleeve not a plug. The only valves I have ever encountered that used a conversion plug are the small Wolverine valves ftom Prince. Are you sure you got a P40 sleeve and noT a P80?

Take the steel plug out of the port directly below the one on the top and see if the sleeve fits in it. Dan

I doubt Amazon is selling power beyond sleeves. Your sleeve likely came from someons selling through Amazon. Yhat said are you sure you are using the N port on the Vevor valve? It looks like its a P40 clone.

    Power beyond questions

Oh - you have a PB sleeve for a P40 valve and it does not fit the N port on your Vevor valve. If I were you I would toss the Vevor valve and buy a P40 that will accept that sleeve. The P40 valves are dirt cheap. Who did you purchase the sleeve from and does your Vevor valve have a joystick...

    Power beyond questions

I would be guessing. If its a P40 clone a G thread power beyond sleeve from Summit might work. You said you also have a P40 but its "too big". In what way is it too big?

    Power beyond questions

Right now it looks like you have two return hoses connected to the Vevor valve. One is going to the return port on the hydraulic outlet block (power beyond) and the other is going to a tank port on the side of the transmission case. Since those ports are all connected internally you have no...

    Power beyond questions

Looks to me like its machined for a power beyond sleeve. It also looks like the PO screwed NPT fittings into the ports. Put a plug in the other two ports and your 3pt may wake up. Dan

I purchased a Pressure tester/Adjustment kit Any tips? 2100 PSI good starting point? BX25.

The Kubota WSM typically says to measure pressure at operating temperature and close to maximum engine RPM. If the system is tight and in good condition it really does not matter much. Dan

Is this the correct plan for adding a slide valve?

I have experimented wirh various locations on my L3901 (no backhoe) and the location I liked best was on top of the right fender. With a backhoe the outlets pretty much have to be on the ROPS. Dan

    What would you do?

I would do what I did 3 years ago - buy a bigger tractor. I also think the job you are tasked with requires more than one machine. At a minimum you need a heavy duty lawn mower (BX) and a utility loader tractor (big B or a standard L) Dan

Is this the correct plan for adding a slide valve?

Putting the 3rd function ahead of the loader is different than the way its done here but more a matter of preference than function. With loader first dump/curl will block operation of the grapple jaws so some might think putting the grapple first is actually better. You seem to have it figured...

How to Add a Free Flow Return Line on a Kubota B2100

I am guessing but with 90% plus confidence the tank port is BSPP (G thread). ,Probably 3/8" with a little less confidence. Dan
