I found their specs, I'm not sure really what it is supposed to be

Welcome to the world of Amazon and Princess Auto hydraulic valves. Acording to that its supposed to have SAE 10 (.875-14) ports. If that were the case a G1/2 sleeve would be loose. If the pirt is G1/2 and the dleeve is SAE-10 the sleeve would be too big. Try a 3/4-16 fitting in that port. That would be SAE-08.

I will say once more - it looks like someone has put NPT fittings in some of them.

I believe your right about the npt fittings, I don't have any extra fittings handy to try, I'll have to get some, I appreciate your help!
