Reasonably priced Quick Attach (SSQA) option for many Kubota's

I pieced together information from this forum and a few other forums, as well as online information in order to figure out what would work for me. My goal is to save all of you the time in case you're interested in converting your machine to a SSQA. The L2230A is a Kubota official quick attach...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

Thanks guys for all the opinions and comments. Looks like my next purchase before it gets too cold will be the heater cab for the winter. I need to figure out the best canopy option...I've seen all sorts of home-made deals out there, as well as aftermarket. Its hard to swallow $400+ for a...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

PHPaul, thanks for your post, pics and opinion. (tcrote thanks for your opinion as well). How did you operate your loader? It looks like your levers were outside your "cab". Looks like they make them for your B2650 as well, is it something you'd consider for that too? I'm thinking if I...

    B8200 ? Loader type. Hookup.

Welcome Mamatried. There is a distribution block on the right side of the machine near your right foot, at least on the HST machines, where the loader plumbing connects. With you having a 2wd you must be very careful when lifting heavy loads, because as soon as your rear wheel leaves the...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

I see these advertised on fleabay and elsewhere, looks like vinyl sides to capture the heat from your motor and direct it back to the operator station. At the same time, it has clear vinyl on 4 sides and the top to shield the operator. The price is compelling....$300 won't break the bank and...

    Reloaders

x2 on the ultrasonic cleaner. I don't clean brass for shooting but I have used my ultrasonic cleaner for anything from carburetors up to jewlery and everything inbetween. Harbor freight sells a unit for under $100 that's worth every penny and then some. I use simple green and water...that's...

Concrete, steel and lead wheel weigh build pics

Lil Foot, are you talking about Lead for use in bullets and such? If so, can people use car batteries? For the $5 recycle charge you can get probably 20lbs of lead....just has the acid you need to dispose of and break down the battery...

    Woods XT172 Problems

Make sure to yank that Gr8 bolt and replace with the right Shear bolt! I had the same issue with the gearbox on my snowblower. It go bound up on a rock and shattered the gearbox...my fault...shouldn't have used the Gr8! Cost me over $550 for a new gearbox for that mistake...

Concrete, steel and lead wheel weigh build pics

Looks like a good amount of engineering and it turned out well! How much time and $ would you say you have invested in these? A few bucks for rebar and bolts, plus concrete and paint...plus the mounting tools from scrap metal, call it $20 each? I have those same tires on my L3710 and I'm...

    What's a good/going price for a L3710 HST?

Thanks guys for the support, I thought it was a great deal that I couldn't pass up! Hokie, that trailer is perfect for my use and you're right the bucket has a little bend in it...I may try to straighten but I almost lost my life when a 12 ton jack let go last time I tried to straighten a...

    What's a good/going price for a L3710 HST?

Sorry I didn't mention it has 1900hrs which isn't new by far, but the motor starts and sounds better than some 400hr machines I've ran....HST doesn't make a bit of noise... Paid $8800 for it....I will need to replace the rear rim soon because the calcium is causing it to rust real badly, but...

Selling a 50" LA402 bucket in very good condition

I know I have seen lots of bent or rusted buckets on B tractors, so I'm thinking that this will be worth something. It is not bent or rusted, the bottom cutting edge is straight, hooks are welded on the top corners for chaining things into the bucket, and the pins are tight and holes are not...

    What's a good/going price for a L3710 HST?

Just picked up an L3710 HST ROPS that I think I got for a smoking deal here in the northeast...I know those are cheaper down south and in the midwest. What do you guys think a L3710 HST, 4wd with great maintenance records, all dealer performed maintenance including recent split machine to...

    Replacement used rims for L3710 17.5 - 24

These are the 2 piece rims on my machine. I have the outer one and then the flange that bolts to the axle hub. The flange is fine, the outer rim is toast... Thanks for the info Shaun, I'll give those places a call. I found one place online and asked them for a quote on the rim but they...

Agreed guys....just weighing the $1500 vs $5000 argument....unfortunately my money tree was affected by the drought or something.......

Can't decide and looking for opinions. B or L.

Venom, all good points I wasn't clear on. I "Want" more hp for the blower, more lifting capacity on the 3 point and loader. I struggle with the pallets of OSB. Yes I can always break them down but I'd prefer not to. I'm sticking with HST for sure. I guess it just comes down to how much...

Can't decide and looking for opinions. B or L.

I obviously need to get my own garage in order but I figured I'd ask my old buddies on the interweb and see if people can throw in some things I haven't thought of for consideration. Here's the deal. I currently have a HST B9200, loader, loaded tires, good condition, 60" mower deck, and a few...

    B20 Water in hydraulic oil

Drains should be located on the low points under the tractor near your final drives and also near the center of the tractor. Make sure all implements are on the ground and pistons retracted as much as possible to maximize the drain. Depending on how bad the water is, you can add a bunch of...
