    Jumpstarting

get yourself a powerall. I have the delux model and keep it in my vehicle or boat when on the water. They work quite well and if you shop around, you can find them for approx $60. https://www.walmart.com/ip/PowerAll-PBJS12000RD-400A-Jump-Starter-Deluxe/37650812 They come in very handy and work...

Weighting rear tires and ballast box

With your intentions, I'd suggest a rear box blade instead of a ballast box. It will pull double duty for you.

Back dragging ? with front wheels in air on BX23S

X2 on that. You see it all the time being done on youtube. Not a good idea at all.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That's pretty funny right there. :) Hopefully your wait won't be long.

Weighting rear tires and ballast box

I had a BX23 (TLB) and did not fill the tires, but I had rear wheel weights on it. I think they were approx 75 lbs each. Most of the time it had the hoe on as well unless I mowed with it. Then both ends came off. Filling your tires won't hurt a thing (until you get a flat). If your dealer won't...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

cold rain here today so not much to do with the new tractor. So, I de-badged it ;) (removed about 15 caution stickers from hood, fenders and loader). Looks much better without all those damn caution stickers. Then gave it a nice coat of wax before it starts to get used regularly. This is my...

    Kubota Insurance. Worth it?

It's worth it. Better coverage than your typical homeowners policy and costs less. Covers theft too and if you take it off your property (home owners won't). Watch this...then decide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBtrb2Gc5T4

    BH77 Controls too short

haven't had enough seat time on it yet. Only had the hoe on for a little bit to work it a little me. It seemed a bit better, but I'll dig into it further now with the correct control sticks. Perhaps, I wasn't pushing the sticks hard enough since they were much shorter.

    BH77 Controls too short

I would, but they are dropping the Kubota line Jan 1. Too bad. They made me a fantastic deal. $3,300 less than another dealer.

    BH77 Controls too short

yep. They didn't realize there was any difference so I sent him pics from one of the forum members along with the parts diagram showing the two types of control sticks. We're good to go.

    BH77 Controls too short

New controls installed. They look much better (taller and with more of a bend towards operator). Haven't had a chance to use them but I think they will be much more comfortable. all is well with the universe again.

    ROPS LED's Questions

Thanks. I was considering two that were advertised as 6" units at approx 12 watt (1 amp). Another model said 15 watt. I just wasn't sure if that was really enough light. I suppose I'll look for something in the 24 watt range.

    ROPS LED's Questions

I understand there are perhaps many threads on adding LED's but was hoping maybe some of you guys can make a suggestion on just how many watts/lumens are needed. I thought maybe it was best to start my own thread. I'd like to add two LED units (one forward, one rear facing). Since I have a hoe...

BX23S/BX25D Purchase Advice - Huntsville TX

Don't be afraid to let your fingers do the walking if you aren't concerned about dealer support/proximity. The deal I went with was $1,300 lower for the new machine and they added another 2K on my trade. That was a $3,300 swing to my favor. That was no haggling at all. Plain and simple. I got...

I bought my first tractor this week...

congrats man. I'm still getting used to mine (arrived a week ago). The new 2650 feels huge compared to my BX23 that I had for 12 years. Gonna take some time to get used to it. Enjoy.

    BX1880 or 2380

They look like pretty much like the same machine with the only difference being horsepower, tire size and 90lbs of weight. 1880 has about an inch less ground clearance (due to smaller diameter tires). Specs can be found here on the last pages...

Congrats, and thanks for your service. Hope you don't have to wait much longer... It was a long 3 weeks for me as well...I didn't want to "dirty" my old BX that I was trading either.

Congrats. Hopefully they can locate one for you or that they have one on the lot. When I did my deal, I was told Kubota wasn't shipping any new ones until February. Not sure if there is any truth to that or not. Anyway, best of luck and hope you get it in time for Christmas.
