    BX5443 chute deflector kit

Thank you! I have "a plan" now, it's actually "not that hard" 😂 once a person understands where to get started on this. I've a few options now for far less than hydraulic...I'd prefer hydraulic, but for the price/difficulty of putting all that together 😬 I'll just do electric.

Old thread, different hedgehog...any idea what linear actuator works for this?

    Snow chains…do I need them?

If I didn't have bad luck...I'd have no luck at all... I called TireChain.com Friday morning and got a helpful woman in U.S.A., sent them pictures of the Chinese manufacturing issue (the bag clearly says: Made In China) and Saturday they sent a text they're sending a replacement chain. Glad...

Kubota BX 25 Bucket hooks, are these any good ? which style?

I have to put a 6" log under the trailer's crank down wheel so the 3500# trailer is high enough for the ball to fit under. It's not ideal, a drop receiver would work better for me

Loader bucket for extra ballast, hauling wood etc.

It'll work great, BUT you'll want Top&Tilt to hook it to the 3pt on uneven ground, and to tilt the bucket forward when loading the first third with wood (it's really loud otherwise, and it's much easier to load when tilted down), and tilt it back loading the remaining 2/3. Try it a few times...

    Sorry, oak tree

That's an "unusual" set of decisions. The hinge type is used for steering against a side-lean, back-lean is generally offset using wedges. Looking at the holding wood and shape of the hinge...well, at least the Trailblazer was likely not out-matched by the tree weight, nobody was hurt, and...

Kubota BX 25 Bucket hooks, are these any good ? which style?

For my needs, a bucket bracket made the front of the tractor usable beyond bucket work, without having to switch out the bucket for something else. When I needed to move a trailer the 2" receiver slid right in and I was on my way. The rings (grab handles) are great for snapping strap hooks (or...

    Kubota BX2380/BX2370/BX2360 Turbocharger by HydrosPlus

HydrosPlus is in the process of building a bolt-on turbocharger system for "recent" Kubota BX tractors and has a series of videos documenting the process. So far they seem to be running an 80% increase in PTO power. (this isn't their most recent video on the BX Turbo project, but it explains...

    Matching Kubota orange paint.

I bet the Kubota turns pink after a few years, the ACE probably not. The devil is in the details. 😂

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

@mcmxi : This post is an aside from the main topic and related to your previous post: I learned long ago no matter how good a machine or tool is, if it breaks and you can't get parts for it the whole thing is (usually) a write-off. If I buy a $30K Chinese machine instead of a $40K Japanese...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

I remember Good Works Tractors doing a video on Kioti and Mahindra out-lifting Kubota by a longshot, and eventually he switched to Kioti because of the additional features, greater capacity, and lower price of Kioti. About a month later I think I remember reading a thread about how it became...

BX23s specific significant design flaw/failure point

Holy Spam Can man, what a P.O.S.! Tell you what, "I'll buy that for a dollar" and haul it away for you as-is and save you the accelerant cost. (then tear it down, polish everything with a wire wheel "pressing down hard," paint it blue, and never-ever sell it to an unsuspecting buyer) 😝

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

Thank you for confirming. I'm new to hydraulics so double-checking pretty much everything at this point, because it's far better to ask than break stuff due to ignorance.

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

That would only be the case under maximum load though? Normally the valves are in bypass and there's no pressure or additional wear on the pump under No/Light/Medium load, only under Full load? (Full Load would include topping-out the 3-point hitch and mower lift, correct?)

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

The retracted over-all length eye-to-eye is the same. The Kubota cylinder leaves 1.5" of rod unused (likely for safety), the aftermarket cylinder is 1.5" longer and takes advantage of the otherwise unused rod length. The aftermarket stroke is therefore 1.5" longer resulting in 11-3/4" additional...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

    33-3/8" - 20-5/8" = 12-3/4" <- shouldn't that be the stroke? If so it's not matching 15-1/4" above.

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

Right right, I'm saying we should also discuss the curl cylinder as it's as "under-powered" as the lift cylinders. If you have more lift on the BX you're going to want more curl...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

I think if I were to go with 2" cylinders I'd want to install a limiter valve so as to not go past 35% additional lift capacity over OEM. And the next part is if the FEL can lift 35% more shouldn't it curl 35% more also??? As long as we're discussing cylinders we might as well discuss the curl...
