How do I Insure My Kubota ?

If you are using your tractor only for work around the house it may already be covered under your home insurance policy. If you are using it for work at other locations additional insurance will probably be needed.

Question For Folks In The US

A lot depends on the client you are working for. Smaller firms you can simply arrive on site and go to work. Other places you will have to demonstrate you are qualified to operate the equipment. A license saying you have taken a course is one method. The same goes for safety devices on the...

    past and present projects

The plane looks like a cross between a Cub and a Champ. I fly a 182 RG, but don't really need the speed and payload much anymore, so am considering moving back to something a little more basic. Love the guns. Really nice work. I'd like to see your shop sometime. You do nice work.

Dumbest thing you've done in a shop

I was changing the timing chain on on old Mercedes Diesel. The procedure is to break the chain at the camshaft, attach the new chain, then turn the engine over by hand while feeding the new chain in and pulling the old chain out. This works best with two or preferably three people. One to...

    Egine oil change

My wifes 1986 Mercedes 300 SDL (daily driver) has been using Rotella since I've owned the car (12 years now). Two weeks ago I took the valve cover off for the 1st time since I've owned the car and found the head to be immaculate. I won't be messing with this success. One of my earlier Benz...

    Kiss theory and assume

My neighbor's son had a Blazer that would not start. I was over and we were talking about it and he said it was going to be towed to the mechanic the next day. I went over and looked at it. The lights were bright, the electric windows opened and closed quickly, but the engine only clicked. I...

    Transmission refill quantities - B7610

I just switched over to SUDT in my B7610 for the winter. The published capacity for the HST transmission is 4.04 gallons. I opened all three drain plugs, let it drain a long time and changed both filters yet I only got a little over 3 gallons in the tractor before the dip stick was reading...

    Box scraper or Grading scraper

I got a 4 foot box blade for my B7610 and really like the versatility of this piece of equipment. It levels and slopes my drive, helps with building roads through the woods, and moves material around well.

    How to order parts

I've found my local dealer is very close in price to mail order places. There is also: http://www.colemanequip.com/Kubota-B7610-Tractors-Parts/? I know there are more, but for the cost difference I really can't see using someone other than my dealer. If you are a long distance away from your...

    Tooth bar?

I have a box blade and it is an extremely useful apparatus. I use it on my gravel drive and to clean up trails in the woods. In addition I have a Ratchet Rake for attachment to the FEL. I use this extremely versatile tool to clear out brush and clean up grass for replanting. So, my answer...
