    DIY BH77 Install Journey

I think I can still do the same on the LX. Your stance is a little wider on the L and there are some different rear brackets IIRC so may be easier than the LX lol. The LX requires me to insert all the longer bolts through both subframe and upper reinforcement and then try to line them up with...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Forgot about lights, I do need to snag a light bar and some floods for the ROPS like I did on my ZTR. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01FZQJN24?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I got this seat cover by Durafit, try reaching out to them to see if they make one for the mini. Edit* this one...

Love that u27, wish I had the projects to warrant a mini instead of the BH 😂 Very clean work!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks! That's next on the list once I get it mounted so I can figure out how high I need my dolly to be to allow me to mount the lower pins easily. I just ordered a set of those street pads a few days ago after finding your thread from a while back 😂 any other mods I should be aware of...

Uncrated the BH77 - @Fordtech86 you were right, what a PITA. Removed the 3pt from the Tractor Installed the longer joysticks - this was an even bigger PITA. 3 heim fittings for each joystick with very little room to get a wrench on them and tighten the supplied bolts.

Broke down and installed the swivel seat... Kubota Parts wanted almost $900 for the BH77 fixed seat (pretty much the price of the subframe). The swivel seat must have been redesigned - while it sits higher, it doesn't lean forward like others have mentioned.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Managed to sneak this heavy SOB into the garage. The LX barely lifted it with the forks from the heavy side so I slid it out of the trailer and then turned it around and slid it into one of the garage bays for now until my power beyond pipe shows up next week. I used two 3 ton jacks to maneuver...

    +1, sidewall repairs are a no-no. I don't know about tractors, but tire shops won't ever repair a sidewall on a car/truck.

Front tire was really low for some reason, filled it. Checked and filled the rest of them too. Filled rears were messy even with the valve at 12 o'clock (I didn't have the rear wheels in the air). 32psi in the front, 28 in the rear. Mounted the BB on the Pats quick hitch in preparation for...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

So if anyone is interested, I found the parts needed to install the BH77 on the LX2610 IF you have a 3rd function (#10 on the diagram): 7J056-84240 - power beyond pipe (backhoe inlet to 3rd function hose) 75580-61800 - fitting NPT to JNC between the pipe and hose Two nuts and bolts (I can add...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Shit... I'm ordering a trailer without ramps so maybe I can wiggle the BH77 off of the trailer and use my aluminum ramps under to make sure it doesn't drop. Oh for sure, I plan on picking up PT 2x6 and another set of casters to build a dolly since I don't need the BH77 on all the time. I was...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Thanks Dan, you are right! I looked at the manual for the LA535 and the bastards listed the nuance for BH77/3rd function kit in there and not in the BH77 manual. Apparently I need a different inlet pipe assembly that doesn't connect to the power beyond but instead connects to the 3rd function...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Thank you! Now I'll have to figure out how to hook up the third function inlet to the BH77 outlet. Thanks, yeah your setup looks just like the manual shows - my setup is slightly different for some reason. Appears to be that way, I've attached a picture of my set up below. Appreciate the...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Oh yeah, it's in quite the majestic overbuilt crate. Looking forward to the free lumber and NOT looking forward to unpacking something that's not in a cardboard box or on a normal pallet 😂

Thanks Dan, I'll look at it closer when the wheel is off, it may be really straightforward and I'm just overthinking it...hopefully that is the case.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Thanks for the vote of confidence 😂 I rented a 6x12 uhaul to pick it up from the dealer and the forks/~500lb box blade should make short work of unloading it until I have the subframe mounted (that's why I left the 3pt on the tractor until Saturday). I'll hit the crate with a sawzall or my 4'...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

As some of you may know, I've recently acquired a BH77 and due to lack of trailer, looking for a "fun project", and being generally dealer averse I've decided to do my own install. I'm mechanically inclined but have limited hydraulics know how. I've gotten to the point where I've followed the...

    Texas Bragg trailers

Diamond C, Load Trail, Aluma, Legend all make great trailers at varying price points. When I was shopping for dump/tilt deck trailers, Texas Bragg seemed lackluster and not on par but to each their own I guess.
