Cleaned up an Elm yesterday that died off last year. 28x34 on the stump. Firewood will keep my dad warm this winter.
Lots of good stove/fireplace wood, but elm is nasty chit to split.

Managed to sneak this heavy SOB into the garage. The LX barely lifted it with the forks from the heavy side so I slid it out of the trailer and then turned it around and slid it into one of the garage bays for now until my power beyond pipe shows up next week. I used two 3 ton jacks to maneuver it once it was in the garage.

I also got a screaming deal on an open box OTC 1500lb tire dolly on eBay for $150 so I'm going to play it safe and use the dolly to remove the loaded tires so I don't end up with a situation where my kid comes around and tips the tire over.
Sweet!

Nice field! There are some amazing rock/stone picking machines out there. I have four big piles of rocks on this property that someone cleared (by hand I assume) many years ago, but more come to the surface over the winter. Some are boulders that stick out of the ground and will never be moved.

That is a nice roller. How much does it weigh when full of water, and what is that structure to the right that stands about 4ft tall? Never mind, your follow up photo makes it clear.

Driveway round 2. Thanks NCL4701 for the tip getting it smooth with the box blade was a breeze. Just need more weight on it. Got rock coming next week to top dress and play some more. Will compact that with a roller once done.

Broke down and installed the swivel seat... Kubota Parts wanted almost $900 for the BH77 fixed seat (pretty much the price of the subframe). The swivel seat must have been redesigned - while it sits higher, it doesn't lean forward like others have mentioned.

I've seen those used here. All we have is sandstone and not much bigger than what you had in your bucket.

It's 4' across and 3' tall. I'll let you gogglefu for weight😉 a friend built it to use with his four wheeler so it's a good foot narrower than the tractor. I looked at a couple of pull types and if I go that route I'd have one made as the commercial versions seem flimsy. Del Morino make a three point version but big bucks to get one here although I haven't ruled it out.

Uncrated the BH77 - @Fordtech86 you were right, what a PITA.

Removed the 3pt from the Tractor

Installed the longer joysticks - this was an even bigger PITA. 3 heim fittings for each joystick with very little room to get a wrench on them and tighten the supplied bolts.

I dropped the tailgate right off the truck! Luckily another Kubota was within reach for me to pick it and place it back on the truck. :p
Did that once - like you said, talk about feeling stupid. Luckily no one was looking.

Friday, sewer line turned into a fiasco. Turns out that the building had a perimeter drain the I had to dig next to. Created quite a mess. We finished at 9:45 pm in the dark. It turned out well (from what I could see with the lights in the mini). Didn't get a whole lot of pics because we were in a hurry to complete the job before rain was coming.

Very impressed with the U-27. It was able to pick a very large chunk of concrete and loaded on the dump truck. I wasn't sure it would work, but it did...it struggled but accomplished the task. Very powerful little machine.

Now fab up one of these to make it easy to roll around in your garage. let me know if you're looking for street pads for the hoe.
