What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

So just enough for a couple of 6x6's and Simpson brackets 😂

Agree, especially with wheels/tires that size. The L/LX are the biggest I would be comfortable handling solo with or without the tire dolly, you're playing it smart using the MX with the forks. Post some pics when you get started.

Hahaha good way to put old equipment to good use. My kid watches that Hudson's Playground show on YouTube and they just repurposed an old JD to (I assume) replace his battery powered tractor. I need to see if my buddy will sell me his old gravely so I can do the same thing in a few years.

    More storage!

Even with a building permit, they won't let me have one where I'm at unless I have one additional acre. I even asked if I could take one or two 20' on a slab and add a roof/siding just like a regular structure and they said no... Fascists.

@North Idaho Wolfman , mind moving this to "Projects" subforum since I'm not troubleshooting anything anymore? TIA 😂

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Of course! First order of business is trenching and burying a new sump discharge. I'm going to trash the donkey d*ck that was poorly buried by the previous homeowner and switch to 4" SD or Schedule 40 and put a drywell at the end so the brine water and volume of water doesn't tear up the yard.

I didn't realize how terrible of a job this was until I did it myself earlier this week, the FEL stays on for me permanently for the foreseeable future.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

I took measurements for my dolly tonight. From the bottom of the outrigger mount to the garage floor measures 11.25"-11.375" That means I can use 6" ball bearing iron/poly casters (same as 4" casters on the pallet carts I built for the BB and Forks/Bucket) along with PT 4x6 on the outrigger...

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Many thanks! The satisfaction of DIY and learning more about the tractor/hydraulics was worth the hassle. The dealer told me I was crazy for installing the BH77 solo in the garage but I figured where there was a will, and a good collection of tools, there was a way 😂 Wow! You got an awesome...

Is that a custom roll bar on your tractor? I'm guessing to avoid any logs rolling back towards the hood/operator? Very nice.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

After much persistence and many issues along the way, the BH77 is on and functional. After hitting the gym and figuring out how to get the hoe off the pallet and mounted on the subframe, I was too tired to play around with it outside and it looks like we're going to have a storm. The trick to...

    Chainsaw guys

The Stihl battery saws are excellent. My buddy brought one over and we cleared about 20-30 cedar trees and it didn't break a sweat. Went through them all like butter while my echo arborist saw with the same bar and chain struggled.
