What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thank you! The only time I see the need to disconnect is when I need to run the box blade. I'll have topsoil delivered in a few weeks to fill some ruts and raise the grade behind the house and the dolly will get some good use then 😁

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Thank you! My floor is a little uneven so I've got 1/4" of clearance on one side and no clearance on the other (had to snug it in there). I'm going to try disconnecting later tonight or tomorrow to see how it goes. I've read that the closer you are, the easier it is to get leverage to disengage...

Built my backhoe dolly before the rain fell. It just barely clears the bottom where the stabilizer arm mounts are.

Dirt Dog vs Iron Craft 6' Box Blade?

Check out Woods, their BB are heavier than most of the ones I saw when shopping around. My 54" weighs close to 500lbs IIRC so it'll do double duty as ballast

Apologies, didn't finish my comment before hitting post, but yeah, agreed. Almost like we all got a 30% pay cut 😭

Congratulations! Daycare is $$$ so I feel your pain and hesitation to purchase a new attachment. I think? Kubota will let you finance land pride attachments if it helps. Beautiful weather in MI today

    Lawnmower options

Ariens makes a similar unit as the ferris, although they lack a suspension and their prosumer models are pricey (my isx2200 equivalent was about $3-5k more). Stay away from any models sold at the box stores... Junk.

    Lawnmower options

Get a middle of a the road Ferris IS600Z (or larger if you're feeling rich 😂) - they have coil spring suspension on all 4 corners, Hydrogear ZT3200 prosumer axles, and some have the premium seat as well. It'll make rough terrain feel not-so-rough. For reference, I towed the largest cyclone rake...

Those are the ones I picked up per @dirtydeed thread - they are excellent. I did pick up 8 M12 zinc washers to install mine since theirs did not include washers.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

C'mon man... I just shelled out more dough last night to build this backhoe dolly 😂 That's a good point, my current bucket is the 16" which I got primarily for digging footers and planting trees but that trenching bucket will come in handy for burning gutters and sump discharge. I'll definitely...
